Hello. It's your sleep-deprived author with 8 assignments due and hasn't even touched them.

Kageyama's POV

Hinata Shoyou was mine. And mine only. And I was going to make sure of it. But I knew one day, someone would try and take him. Use him for leverage against me. For my wealth, my kingdom, or my life. It was the reason I hadn't let Hinata outside the castle courtyards after announcing him to the public.

"Kageyama!" I heard a voice say.

I turned around. There Hinata was, with his bright smile as warm as the sun and the cheerful aura around him. I smiled a little.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Can I go outside?" he asked.

"No." I answered immediately.

"But whyyyyy?" Hinata whined.

"Because it's dangerous," I said.

"But I've been outside a lot before I came into the castle! It's not dangerous at all! Plus, I haven't been outside of the castle for like, 10 months! C'mon, please?" He asked, widening his eyes, puckering his lips, giving his best attempt to do a puppy dog face.

I looked away, my face flushed. "Fine" I mumbled. Who could resist a face like that? "But only if you bring Sugawara and Daichi with you. Because of this damn meeting, I can't come with you. So you'll have to stay with them at all times, ok?" I said.

"Deal!" Hinata shouted happily, his face glowing.

I sighed as Hinata darted away, not looking forward to the meeting with Kuroo, Nekoma's Prince. At least Kenma would be there. In my opinion, he was more fitting to be a Prince than Kuroo. But that was just my opinion. It's not like it was going to happen anyway. I then strolled towards the meeting room and opened the doors. This was going to be a long day.

Hinata's POV

Today, I finally get to go outside the castle! Ever since I first came to the castle, I've been stuck here forever! It's not like I didn't like spending time with Kageyama, it's just that it got boring after a while. But today was the day I finally got to go outside! I skipped happily out the castle gates with Sugawara and Daichi behind me. Sugawara was the most trustworthy maid in the castle and Daichi was the King's personal Knight. So everything would be fine, right?

. . .

"Hinata, sweetie slow down a bit. You wouldn't want to get lost, would you?" I heard Sugawara say behind me. I slowed down a bit.

"Sorry, Sugawara, I'm just so excited!" I said, jumping up and down.

"I know, Hinata, but you're attracting too much attention to yourself" Sugawara whispered. I looked around. Sugawara was right. A lot of people were staring at me.

"Ah, sorry" I whispered. Daichi patted my head.

"It's fine, as long as you don't attract too much attention," he said. I nodded and once again, we started heading off.

. . .

"Wah! Sugawara, Daichi look at that! It looks delicious!" I said, pointing at the meat bun.

"Do you want it? I can buy it for you," Sugawara offered.

"No, it's fine, Kageyama gave me some money," I said. I walked up towards the store. As I was about to buy the meat bun, I stopped and turned around. "Daichi, Sugawara, did you want any?" I asked.
