~ chapter four ~
"hey, hey, hey! why'd you give her a suit? that just makes things official!" clint whined.
"it was about time she got her own suit," steve shrugged. "and it helps with the whole burning thing. at least that's what i was told, i asked sharon to make it."
the outfit was similar to clint and natasha's. the only differences were that hers didn't have all the holsters for weapons, except for the back, which had someone for her bow and arrows. there was a different type of fabric for the gloves, which luna assumed was because of her light beams.
they made a plan just in case, and everyone took their spots. steve headed to the helicopter, but stopped when tony and rhodey flew down.
"wow, it's so weird how you run into people at the airport. don't you think that's weird?"
"definitely weird."
"hear me out, tony," the dirty blonde spoke. "that doctor, the psychiatrist, he's behind all of this."
"captain," black panther came out of no where, jumping down beside the three men.
"your highness."
"anyway, ross gave me thirty-six hours to bring you in. that was the twenty-four hours ago. can you help a brother out?"
"you're after the wrong guy."
"your judgment is askew. your old war buddy killed innocent people yesterday-"
"-and there are five more super soldiers just like him. i can't let the doctor find them first, tony. i can't."
"steve," nat began as she approached them, "you know what's about to happen. do you really wanna punch your way out of this one?"
no answer.
"alright, i've run out of patience. underoos!"
webs stuck to cap's shield and his wrists. the action was followed by a person dressed in a red and blue suit, who flipped midair and landed on top of a car.
"nice job, kid."
"thanks. well, i could have stuck the landing a little better, it's just, new suit. it's nothing, mister stark. it's perfect. thank you."
"yeah, we don't really need to start a conversation."
