It was the first day of school and none of us were ready for it. Especially Ginny Weasley who is kind enough to wake us up almost everyday since we could never do it on our own. Sadly she was also in charge of showing professor Lupin extra early before break feast, around which meant double the work and she nearly forgot about us.
(Reader POV)
"Alright Professor and here is the Gryffindor common rooms" She said. Remus knew where everything was but Mcgonagall insisted.
"Same as always" Remus chuckled
"One moment professor if you would like to come in and see the common room while I do something really quick you can" she smiled
"Alright" he agreed, Ginny said the password and they both stepped in. Ginny ran up the stairs of the girls common rooms while Lupin looked around
"Get up!" He could hear from up the stairs "COME ON I HAVE TO SHOW THE NEW PROFESSOR AROUND" Ginny yelled
"GINNY GO AWAY" Another girls voice said, it was Maddie
"YEAH GINNY LEAVE" Alice yelled
"OKAY LOOKS LIKE I WILL HAVE TO USE FORCE" Ginny said, next thing all you could hear was two loud thumps then two more
"Ow" four girls said at once
"Break feast is soon!" Ginny said in a singing tone
"Oo really!" two girls said in unison, next thing you knew you could hear people running down the stairs. Remus could hear everything and was facing the stairs when he saw Natalie in the front and she stopped noticing him causing the rest of the girls except Ginny fall down the stairs
"Natalie!" Alice voice was muffled from her face on the ground
"I'm sorry I was caught off guard" Natalie apologized
"Alice get off me you are heavy" Maddie complained
"No i'm not!" Alice argued
"Yeah you are" Maddie said trying to push Alice off
"Alice get off you are crushing Dove!" Sylvia laughed, her laugh caused all of the girls to laugh except Ginny, Remus was the one holding back his chuckles at the sight of the girls piled on one another
"You four cause me trouble every morning!" Ginny pointed her finger at the four girls lying on the floor
"Sorry" Natalie apologized, Ginny was one of our close friends but she really looked out for us which was nice
"Get dressed break feast is starting in 15 minutes!" Ginny rolled her eyes "I'm so sorry professor we have about two more areas to look at then we can go to break feast" Ginny rushed to the portrait and walked out, Remus gave a quick wave that we returned then followed Ginny out
"My head hurts" Sylvia groaned
"That's because it landed on my ribcage!" Alice said and stood up along with the rest of the girls
"Okay let's get dressed i'm hungry" Natalie chuckled, the four went to their dorm and got changed then walked to the great hall. They decided to sit next to Neville today since it looks like Seamus is at the hospital wing for blowing something up again
"Hey Neville!" Alice greeted as they sat across him
"Oh hey guys!" Neville looked up from the piece of parchment he was writing on and smiled
"What is that?" Maddie asked
"I'm thinking of plant names for my new plant. It is a wiggentree, since I told Mcgonagall I liked herbology she convinced Snape to let me grow plants for his potion making" He grinned
