Enemies... or are we?

~chapter 14~

Davina is about to be here so i put on a hoodie and shorts, i head a knock at the door and i go over to open it. Davina is standing there with a bag and a smile on her face. She hugs me and I hug back.

"Welcome.I'm glad you made it" I say and she laughs a little bit.

"Thank you for having me" She says and i direct her over to my bed. "So i need to know more about you, any boyfriends? or girlfriends"

" At the moment no, there was this guy, Draco. I bet you know him, he's a malfoy-" i'm about to continue but she quickly says

"i'm sorry- DRACO MALFOY" she says super loud and i slap my hand over her mouth.

"he's the next dorm over shut up" i say and break down laughing and she joins me.

"my bad my bad. continue"

"Anyways we hated each other, but then i got with a different guy and he hated that. Spoiler alert that guy cheated on me. But a bunch happened in the middle and we got "together" and then we just recently broke it off again." I decided to not tell her what happened with Blaise because we just met and i didn't want to put that on her.

"damn girl. you guys have been through a lot. do you like him?" she asks

"i don't know honestly. he's so rude but he draws me back in every time and i don't know how he does it."Thats the best way i could put it.

"I get that girl, my ex constantly treated me like shit and i hated him but i couldn't stop going back to him." she breaths "but now i'm into girls." she says that and i start laughing so hard that i cant breathe.

About 10 minutes later we stop laughing. "So i know holiday break is in 3 days but are you going home?" I ask Davina.

"Yes i am, me and James have "power training" which is basically getting better and stronger at magic, how about you?" she says.

"Sounds tiring. And i'm staying here." I say trying to ignore the fact that i'm staying here because of my family.

"How many people normally stay?" she asks.

"It's my first time staying so i'm not sure. I would say about 5 people from each house." (i actually have no idea on how many)

"Oh okay. What time is it?" She asks.

"About 11." I say in response.

"Would i be able to take a shower. Sorry to bother."

"Of course you can. Everything you need should be in there" i say sweetly. "I'm going to grab something from the common room" I add on.

"Okay." She walks to the bathroom.

I open the door and close it behind me and head to the common room to grab a book i left in there the other day that I keep forgetting to get. I arrive at the common room to see Draco laying on the couch asleep. I cant help but look at him and see how angelic his face is. I smile at that thought but quickly snap back to reality when i see my book.

I walk over the the table and pass a stack of blankets. I pick one of the blankets up and cover Draco's sleeping body with it. I make my way over the the table and grab my book and go back to my dorm.

~Draco'a pov~
I hear someone walk into the common room and i really don't feel like talking to anyone so i pretend to be asleep. there's a sound of slight shuffling around and then the mystery person gets closer to me. I recognize that smell right away. It's Athena. I feel a blanket go over me and i slightly open one eye to see her back turned and her picking up a book. I quickly shut my eyes again when i see her turn around.

Why would she do that? why am i even thinking about her. I cant help feel guilt at what i said to her. She is probably going home for the holidays and I won't be able to see her and apologize.

~Athenas pov~
I walk back into my room and the shower is still going to i decide to just read for a while.

I hear the shower turn off and the door open.

~ time skip~
It's about 1 am and me and Davina are having the time of our lives and laughing so much. I've learned a lot about her. "We need sleep" she says still lauging at the previous joke.

"You're right." i say laughing.

We say goodnight to each other and go to sleep.
