~Chapter 9~

~Saturday~
Hermionie work me up extra early to start the day off "strong" as she says. I don't know how waking up at 5:30 am for a ball that's at 6 pm is starting strong but i trust her.

"Let's go get our nails done for the ball" she says excited.

"Okay let's go" i say smiling at her. We walk to the nail salon (i don't know if they have one i assume not but just go with it). About an hour has gone by and our nails are done. Mine are dark green and Mionies are maroon.We walk out to get breakfast. In my opinion it's too early to eat but Hermionie is going to make me eat.

"Ouuu let's go here it seems good!" She points to a restaurant.

"Seems facy, i like it" She laughs and we walk into the restaurant. "So fill me in on your date status" I say to Hermionie and she blushes.

"Well i'm going with ron as you know and i think i actually like him. like- like like" She has the biggest smile and blush on her face I've ever seen and that makes me smile. "So tell me about yours" she adds.

"Well i'm going with Cedric but me and Draco i thought we had something but he asked Pansy to the ball" i take a deep breath "it's okay though."

" DRACO? as in malfoy?" she caughs to hide her surprised expression."Hey i'm sure it will all work out" She says with a warm smile. hopefully. i think to myself.

~time skip to 3:30~

Me and Mionie have been hanging out the whole day and we both went back to our dorms and agreed to meet up around 5:00 to do final touches. I need to take a shower so i grab my bath robe and go to open the door but when i go to open it, it opened on the other side and hit me in the face.

"bloody hell!" i yell holding the spot that got hit.

"shit sorry i didn't mean it. are you okay?" I look up and see Draco.

"Yeah i'm fine." I say coldly and walk away to the bathroom.

"What's your problem?" he seems annoyed.

"what's MY problem? We kissed and you ignored me. Then we kissed again and you ask pansy to the yule ball 10 minutes later and your asking what my problem is?" I continue walking and this time he doesn't grab me,just shuts the door.

I take a 30 ish minute shower, after i'm done i put on my bathrobe and grab my stuff to do my makeup while my hair is still drying.

It's now 4:30 and my hair is dry and head to be done up. All i do is curl it because i was told that my hair looks better down. Then i finish up my makeup, green eyeshadow, clear mascara, and some lip gloss. I look over at the time and it's 5:15. Hermionie should be here any minute. I think then I hear a knock on my door.

"Come on" i yell over and see Mionie come through the door in beautiful makeup and gorgeous hair.

"Ready for the final touch" she hints towards the dresses.

"As i'll ever be." We both chuckle and out on our dresses. Facing the opposite way from each other so we can't see the other ones dresses.

"Ready?" I ask

"Yes" i can't practically hear her smile.

"one." i start

"two" she says

"three" we both say together and turn around and immediately gasp.

"Oh my merlin you look gorgeous!!" i say to her.

"You do too! Cedric is gonna die!" (i'm sorry that made me laugh)

~6:00~
It's 6 and Hermionie went to her dorm already because of meeting ron but It's my turn to meet up with my date.

I walk down to the stairs of the common room and see  Cedric,Blaise,and Draco all standing there. I smile.

"Move bitch" Pansy says. God she's rude. I look down at Draco and he is barley even drowning his face is so straight. he definitely doesn't look happy though. A gorgeous blonde girl walks down and hooks onto Blaise and I know it's my turn. None of the boys have seen me yet.

~Dracos Pov~

Pansy walks down the stairs and she just annoys me on how ugly and rude she is. Blaises date walks down and Diggory is standing there waiting for Athena. Pansy turns me to talk to her so i'm not really paying attention to anything else but blaise taps my shoulder and tells me to look up at the stairs.

I look up and see Athena walking down in a gorgeous black dress that fits her perfectly. God she's perfect. Why did i fuck everything up. I'm quickly snapped out of my thoughts with Pansy nagging me to go to the ball so we can get a good table.

~Athenas pov~

It's been about 20 minutes of dancing and drinking punch and i'm hacking a great time honestly. I can't help but look over a Draco but everything i do he looks so sad. I kind of feel bad.

"Hey i'm going to talk to Hermionie for 2 seconds i'll be right back" i say to Cedric and he nods and smiles. 

"Hey girl" She says as i walk up to her.

"Heyy" I say back.

We talk for about 10 minutes before she is being called by Ron and had to go. I walk back over to where Cedric and my mouth drops along with my stomach.

He's kissing cho. My heart sinks and tears start streaming down my face. I walk over to him and throw a cup of punch in his face and walk out crying.

I am sitting in the stairwell when i feel a warm hand on my shoulder.  " Go away" i sniffle.

"It's just me" I turn and see Blaise. Well that's a new one.

"Oh um i'm sorry i can move let me just-" He cuts me off.

"Here let's go to your room. We can talk there." I smile.

"okay" i say and take his hand.
