Love me again

Chapter Eight

Zoe spent the whole night crying on her bed. "How can you be that stupid Zoe! Ahh! So that's the reason why he never answered me back every time I would tell him that I love him. He never loved me! I mean nothing to him, I am just one of the many women he fucked and left broken! I hate you Skylar! I hate you so much!" She said in between sob.

She felt so pity on herself, she gave him everything, she put him in a pedestal. He became her world and that was her mistake.

Zoe tried to be strong, she continued her life and make herself busy at work. She did not let her family notice what she is going through.

Zoe decided to visit Breanna's house, she missed her friends specially now, she wanted someone to talk to, it's a good thing that the three of them are off from work today. She already sent a message to Audrey to be there too.
Breanna opened the door for her.

"Zoe, how are you? Audrey is already here. Breanna kissed her cheek and hugged her. Thy entered the house.

"I'm not fine. I feel like hell." Zoe said in a cracked voice.

"Hey, what's the problem Zoe?" Breanna and Audrey asked in concerned tone.

" Let's talk about it upstairs, inside my bedroom." Breanna said.

They all went upstairs, inside Breanna's bedroom.
They all sat on the bed.

"Speak now Zoe, we will listen to you." Audrey said, encouraging her.

"He made a fool out of me..." She said and started to break down.

"Wait what do you mean? Who? Skylar? Breanna asked.

"Yes, it's Skylar! That casanova lying bastard!" She said, tears all over her face.

" Oh that womanizer! He's a complete trash! An asshole!" Audrey said, starting to flare-up.

"Hey girls, calm down, tell us the whole story Zoe." Breanna said.

"I caught him cheating on me on his phone, the girl named Emily, they are also seeing each other, he went home that night and said he has a client meeting but the truth is he was with that girl Emily. I did not confront him about it. Then he told me he was going to see his parents at lunch the following day. I followed him, I told his parents that we are together and we are engaged and then suddenly he became very furious and said hurtful words." Zoe narrated in between tears.

Her friends were both silent and just embraced her. She continued with her story.

" He said that there is no us, that I am a desperate woman, he never loved me!" Zoe said this time almost breaking-down.

" Oh Zoe, we understand how you feel, no amount of comforting words could mend what you are feeling right now, we just want you to know that we are always here for you to listen and support you." Audrey said crying for her.

"That's right Zoe. I know it's cliche but he doesn't deserve your tears. It's his big lost, he let a great woman slipped between his fingers, no other woman would love him as much as you do." Breanna said with teary-eyes.

"Thank you girls!" Zoe said and did a group hug.

"I know I can surpass this, I have to be strong, life must go on for me." She said, still crying.

Zoe told her friends her plan on how she would be able to forget Skylar and be able to move on. They supported her decision.

The three of them watched comedy flicks to divert Zoe's attention. Zoe and Audrey went home around 7pm, they thanked Breanna.
