Chapter Six

Skylar is back to work now, he feels so recharged and energized after his vacation. Oftentimes he would just smile out of nowhere.

"You looked different Sky, something has changed I just couldn't figure it out, come on bro, spill it out!" Liam said laughing at him.

"What are you saying Liam?" He said shrugging off his shoulders.

"Oh come on! So who's the new poor girl entrapped by your black magic spell?! Haha... Liam said.

" Poor girl? And Black magic spell? What do you think of me? Some kind of wizard! Harry potter?!?, look bro, just admit it, I have a natural irresistible charm to women, I am Gifted, some people just have all the luck! He said laughing hard at Liam.

"Woh oh hoh! Speaking of over confidence! Ahem! He said jokingly to him.

"Kidding aside Sky, is it that blonde girl who visited you before here in the office? What's her name again? Emily am I right?" Liam asked.

He was quiet for a moment, he just gave a nod to Liam for an answer.

"See, I was right after all, I think she's different from all the girls you have dated. I mean, looked at you, you have the glow of a happy and contented man, you're parents was right in choosing her for you, good luck bro!" Liam stood up and bid good bye in his office.

Skylar was left analyzing what his best friend have just said, is he really that obvious that almost everyone in the office have noticed a different glow on his face on his aura. His thoughts was interrupted by a phone call, he picked up his celfone, it's Zoe, he smiled seeing the name of his caller, he pressed the answer button.

"Hello sweetie, how are you?" He asked.
"Hello my Sky, I'm good, I am starting my review class for the upcoming NCLEX. I want you to know that I miss you so much, I'm dying to see you... She said to him from the other line.

"I missed you too sweetie, we'll see each other when you are free, just concentrate on your review, I don't want you to be distracted because of me, okay?" Skylar said.

"Okay, I promise.. I love you my Sky" Zoe said in almost whispered voice. There was a pause for a moment.
"I know sweetie, take care. Bye" then he hang-up.

"So what was his reply Zoe?" Breanna asked Zoe after her call to Sky. They are having snack at the review center's cafeteria.

"He said he knows it, he knows that I love him, that's all." She said in a lonely voice.
" Oh Zoe, don't be sad, maybe he's not that vocal in expressing his feelings, please don't feel bad about it." Audrey said reassuringly.
" Yes it could be" Breanna added.

She just sighed deeply, let's not talk about him now, anyways maybe I am just expecting too much from him, its too early for that, I don't want him to feel pressured.

"As your friend Zoe, I don't want to give you false hopes, you know Sky's reputation when it comes to women. It is better not too expect too much, we don't want to see you hurt." Breanna said with sincerest concern.

"She's right Zoe, always remember we are always here for you, we're like sisters, you can always count on us" Audrey hugged her tightly.

"Thank you Breanna and Audrey, I'm so lucky to have you as friends." She said and they made a group-hug

Skylar and Zoe would usually see each other at his unit every time Zoe is free from her review class. They were so happy, like a real-couple deeply in-love with each other.

After one-month review, Zoe and her friends took the NCLEX examination, the three of them successfully passed the exam.

Zoe sent a message to Skylar informing him that she passed the licensure examination.
" I made it my Sky! I am a Registered Nurse now!" - Zoe
Skylar called her immediately.
