Love me again

Chapter Eleven

The wedding celebration was very happy, it was filled with smiles, laughter and most of all Love. The bride and the groom thanked all the guests. Zoe smiled all the time despite the irritation she felt for Skylar. Lately he is showing signs that he wants her back, but no, she swore never to fall for him again.

After she kissed Breanna and her brother goodbye she went straight to her car, she felt so drained and wanted to sleep. 

"Zoe!" I heard someone called me. "Oh no, not again! I sighed.

"Zoe, let me take you home, you looked tired and sleepy sweetheart." Skylar offered.

"No thanks, I CAN MANAGE. " I said emphasizing every word to him.

I immediately went inside the car, started the engine and drive home.

Skylar was left standing at the parking lot.

She's still mad at me, I will win her back whatever it takes. I can't bear loosing her for the second time, never again. He promised to himself.

It's been a week since Liam and Breanna got married. They just got home from their honeymoon in Bali, Indonesia.

"We're home!" Liam greeted them excitedly. They are in the living room together with their parents.

"Hello mom and dad!"  Breanna said cheerfully looking so fresh and beautiful in her yellow floral maxi dress.

"Hello there honey!" Her mom said and kissed Breanna's cheek.

I came near Breanna and kissed her. "How was your honeymoon sis?" I asked smilingly.

Breanna blushed and said " It was great, Bali is such a lovely place, you should visit it some time Zoe.

"I will reconsider it Breanna." I said.

A knocked on the door caught our attention.

"Good afternoon every one!" Skylar said at the front door, looking so gorgeous as always in a powder blue pullover and khaki short pants paired with fredperry shoes.

"Hey bro! Good you came." I heard my brother said.

"So how was the honeymoon bro?" Skylar teasingly asked her brother.

"Bro, don't you know the word privacy?" Her brother Liam said laughing.

"Okay okay!" Skylar said raising his both hands.

I went upstairs inside my room. I can't stand his presence.

I heard a knock on  my door. " Hey Zoe, are you alright? It's me Xander.

"Come in." I said.

Xander went inside my room but left the door open.

"I will just open the door if you don't mind, you're parents might think something else why am I inside your room." Xander explained.

"Why oh my,  the doctor is conservative..haha!" I said laughing at him.

"Stop it! Will you!" He said throwing one pillow at me.

"Ouch! That hurts!"I said in a painful voice.

"You're a bad actress Miss Smith! Tsk tsk..! He said teasing me.

"What brought you here? Aren't you going to see Audrey today? I can see how smitten both of you with each other, don't try to deny it!" I said.

"I'm not denying anything, okay, you're right, Audrey is an amazing woman, I want to get to know her more and more and more." He said dreaming.

"Then tell her." I said to him.

"I'd love too, I still thinking a better plan on how to tell her. I am even reconsidering transferring here if everything goes well for us." He said to me.

"That came as a surprise, I am happy for you doc. So you will leave me in New Zealand, haha.." I said to him jokingly. I am sincerely happy for them.

"What about you? How is you heart Ms. Nurse? Our normal heart sounds has only S1 and S2, but for your case it seems I am hearing an S3! It is not in normal condition." He said jokingly at me.

"You should try to rechecked it doc, I am absolutely fine, I have a very healthy heart." I said grinning from ear to ear.

"Okay, if you say so." He stood up and went towards the door. "I'll just take a walk outside, want to join me?"

"Sure, good idea." I said. I needed it, I don,t want to see Skylar.

Skylar heard  footsteps coming from the stairs. He glanced to see who was it. It was The green-eyed doctor and Zoe. They are together again, Damn!

"Mom, Xander and I will just take a walk outside okay!" Zoe said.

"Okay, take care honey." Zoe's mom replied.

Skylar clenched his fist, he barely slept last night. He felt so rejected by Zoe, It was the same words he said everytime she would tell that she loves him. Is she having a revenge? He shook his head with the thought. I deserved it, you deserved it Skylar, you hurt her so deeply before. He told himself.

Zoe and Xander decided to have dinner in a near restaurant, Zoe doesn't want to have dinner in their house, she knows thay Skylar is still there. That thick face! she chuckled.

They went home around 10pm. Zoe and Xander went straight to their respective rooms.

"Goodnight doc! Thanks for the company." Zoe said.

"Goodnight too Ms. Nurse. Don't mention it, you are always welcome." Xander said before he closed the door.

Zoe took a shower to freshen-up, she wanted to have a good sleep tonight.

After she wore her silk maroon night dress. She towel-dried her hair and was about to go to bed when she heard a knock on her door. May be its her mom, she said to herself, she didn't bothet to cover herself. She went to open the door just to be surprise who it is.

"Zoe.." Skylar got tongue-tied seeing Zoe in a short lacy silk night dress. He can almost see and imagine what is inside of it. He swallowed hard. He was completely stunned by the beauty in front of him. On instinct he closed the small gap between them grabbed her waist and kissed her passionately.

Zoe was astonished by Skylar's aggressiveness. His mouth completely covering hers waiting patiently for her respond. She could feel the heat from his body. And she could not resist it any longer, she responded with his kiss with equal passion. She heard Skykar gently kicked the door to close and locked it.

He squeezed her butt, he pushed her against the wall. Oh God, how he missed her so bad, her scent, her softness, her body, her lips, everything! He slipped his hands under her night dress, he reached for her panty and started to caress it. He heard moan in pleasure.

"I missed you like hell sweetheart, I want to make love you baby..." he said in ragged voice..

"I missed you too Skylar.. ahh.. make love to me tonight please... "
