Chapter One

Zoe and her friends decided to have a group study at her house in preparation for their upcoming examination. They are on their fourth and final year in Nursing school.

Breanna: Hey Zoe can we rest for awhile,I'm starting to have head ache, all these medical-surgical concepts are totally brain-wracking! Oh God please help me!
Zoe: Okay, let's take a break first. I'll ask our maid to prepare some food for us. Any food request?
Breanna: Anything will do Zoe, thanks.
Audrey: Why don't we talk first outside nursing concepts while having a break. Let's start with you Zoe, so did you see Skylar today?
Zoe: yes, I saw him with my brother in their office, I brought a blueberry cheesecake for my brother and made it as an excuse why I went there. The truth is I just wanted to see Skylar. He is more handsome now, every angle of him is perfect. But unfortunately I saw him flirting with an ugly girl in their office. Actually she's not ugly, it's the exact opposite. She's very attractive girl oozing with appeal and confidence, no wonder she caught Skylar's attention and I hate it! Ah!
Audrey and Breanna started to laugh at me.
Breanna: hey calm down, look you don't have any reason to be insecure with that girl, you are very beautiful Zoe, almost every guy the school has a huge crush on you! Come on!
Audrey: That's right Zoe, all you need to do is to make Skylar notice that. Actually he knows it but doesn't seem to entertain the thought of you and him dating or having a relationship. He is your brother's best friend remember. Do the first move girl! Believe that you are irresistible.
Zoe thinking: Audrey has a point, I have to act fast or I'll regret it my whole life. He is known for dating beautiful girls, and I am beautiful, in fact very beautiful, why not? Although he is known to be a player, never been to any serious relationship that doesn't make him any less in my eyes, may be I can change his views when it comes to love and relationship. I have to make a plan soon. I'll make him fall in love with me, we will be happy together, get married and have lovely kids! She thought smiling to herself.

A knock on her door brought her to reality. Dolly, their housemaid entered the room with the snack she requested. She brought seafood pasta for three and red iced tea.
Zoe: thanks Dolly, it looks and smells great!
Dolly: You're welcome, enjoy your food girls.
Aubrey: wow, let's eat.
Zoe: how about the two of you. Are you dating anyone?
Breanna: none as of now, maybe after graduation, this is the critical year for us, i am not as smart as you Zoe. (Smiled at Zoe)
Audrey: same for me. So, what's your plan Zoe? For the love of your life! Haha
Zoe: I guess the two of you are right, after our graduation Skylar Kayle will be mine!
We support you Zoe! Said Breanna and Zoe.
After eating they continued their review.

Skylar is now driving home after work. He's very exhausted from today's activities. It's a good thing he had a beautiful visitor at his office today. Emily Thompson, the girl his parents wants to be his girlfriend and eventually be his wife. He's not thinking anything about marriage right now, he is still enjoying his freedom to date as many girls as he wants. Emily is beautiful, smart and sensible, he might reconsider his parents suggestion but nothing serious, no strings attached.
He saw the box of blueberry cheesecake at the next seat of his car, Liam gave half of it to him, it was brought by Zoe.
He noticed when she entered the office. She have grown very beautiful, a head-turner but he heard and saw how spoiled Zoe is to her family being the only daughter. She is also known to be out-going, dating guys of her age, some what in liberated ways. If only she's not my best friend's sister I would have... No, he erased the thought, she's almost a sister to me. Liam would be furious, it will be the end of our friendship.

At Smith's Residence.
It's a sunny morning on sunday, Liam, Zoe and Annie their mom were having breakfast together.

Annie Smith: So Liam, how's your new firm going?

Liam: It's doing great mom, we are beginning to have more clients through referrals from our previous clients who were satisfied with our work. In years to come S and L will be one of the top architectural firms in the country, that is how we envisioned the company.

Annie: Well, that's good news son! We are happy for you. How's Sky?

Liam: Sky will be here today, I invited him, maybe will be swimming in the pool later, why don't you join us Zoe?

Zoe felt excited knowing Skylar will be there. She smiled at her brother and said yes she will join them.

After breakfast Zoe immediately went to her room to look for her swimsuit. She has to choose something that would compliment her sexy body, this is her chance to let Skylar notice her. She smiled by the thought of it.

Zoe decided to wear a two piece bikini, she chose a red one which compliments her snow-white skin. She even practiced how she would walk and finding the best angle where she would look her most beautiful. This is the beginning...

At around 3pm Zoe heard the doorbell rang, she immediately checked if it is Skylar who arrived. She recognized his voice, her heartbeat is rising, she began to feel nervous and excited. She took a deep breath and tried to calm herself. Relax Zoe, you can do this!
