The Offer

King's POV:
I really hate that I had to get her to make a silencing choker for Kirishima but I can't risk not putting it on him. He has been crying from shock and fear for a long time. He is finally calming down and I came up with something that could allow him to remove it, now whether he agrees or not determines the outcome.

"Hey, I have an offer, but you may not like it." I told him while I was petting his hair in an attempt to calming him down. I've been doing this the entire time and life is good. His hair is so soft!

His sad and desperate eyes met mine. It was as if he was telling me he would do anything to live. His fear and desperation is stabbing me in the heart, over and over and over again.

"Well, the only way we will take that off is if you join the Baku Squad. I have only ever offered this to you as a way to live because, unlike the others, I actually like you." I told him.

"I don't know. Can I have some time to think about this?" Kirishima murmured. I nodded my head, "One week." I swear I will do everything in my power to get him to want to join. I will do almost anything for him, even kill. I don't think I've ever felt this passionate about anything before.

Alien Queen brought Kirishima home so he can relax and think about my offer. After she gets back we are going to hold some people hostage. We haven't been very active lately so why not? Maybe we can go to that new jewelry store. No, if we create a hostage situation then it's harder to get away and we will need a request of some sort. My face warped into something dastardly. It will happen in three days.

Kirishima's POV:
Mina dropped me off at home with this incredible burden. I have a very horrible choice to make. If I don't take it I can die, if I do then I will be involved in all sorts of tragedies. I can't even ask my counselor for advice because I could die from a simple slip of the tongue.

Trying to regain some sanity I turned on the news.

Breaking News! Today the new jewelry store was set ablaze by a pro hero gone rogue. Himiko, can you tell us what happened?

Thank you Sena! Today we are at the scene of a truly tragic event. Pro hero "Combustion" was confronted by other heroes who wanted answers as to why he consorted with the villains known as Armageddon. Upon being confronted, Combustion panicked and used his quirk to set the store on fire. Thanks to this he not only got away but he trapped many people inside and the sprinklers where rendered useless as his fire only becomes more intense when water touches it.

I didn't want to hear any more. My little sister and Seth are in the hospital. And Aiko is gone. She was my counselor whom I entrusted with my darkest secrets and emotions. I felt numb. But deep within the numbness, I could feel a burning rage in my soul. I called him.

"I'm in." I said after he picked up. As soon as I uttered those words I hung up and sprinted to the train station. I got on the first train going to the hospital and prayed that it wouldn't be to long.

Meanwhile...
Third person POV:
"I'm in." Bakugou heard from the phone. He was almost to shocked to move when he heard Kirishima's answer so soon. Bakugou saw the news and was already planning on hunting down the bastard who caused Kirishima's family to be in the hospital. It wasn't necessarily that he liked them but because he knew Kirishima would be hurt.

Bakugou quickly changed into streetwear and took off in his car, hoping to meet with Kirishima.

At the hospital...
Kirishima's POV:
After navigating the train station I finally got to the hospital. When I got to the reception desk I saw someone I should've expected to come.

"Bakugou, what are you doing here?" I asked cautiously. He pointed to his neck before saying, "I've come to talk about that offer and to make sure everyone was okay." When he said "everyone" I feel like he means me but wants to be nice and include my family.

I was about to ask the receptionist what room Seth and Flora where in when Bakugou decided to start dragging me by the wrist. I tried to protest but Bakugou responded with, "I already asked, they are in room 132."

When we got to the room the doctor told us outside about their condition. Apparently Flora didn't get seriously wounded because Seth protected her from the falling debris. Flora just has some small burns and a lot of smoke in her lungs. While Flora was not severely injured, Seth was another story. He is paralyzed from the waist down, horrendous burns, some bad ones on his left arm, and several deep cuts.

I already wanted to cry after hearing just how bad their injuries are. Seth was so manly, protecting Flora from most of the danger with his life. I'm just so glad they are alive, even if they might not be able to live a regular life anymore. When we went inside and saw them, it was a completely different story. I couldn't stop the tears after seeing their injuries, just lying in that bed and hooked up to all sorts of medical equipment. They had those things patients wear when they need help breathing over their faces. I will get revenge. Bakugou tried comforting me and released me of the choker he just gave me that day.
