"G-Garroth..?", Blaze asked weakly, walking slowly up to the blonde who wasn't responding. He was looking down, clutching his head while trying to steady himself on the fencing around the roof of the building. It wasn't long until a laugh came out of his lips that sent chills up the hero's spine.

"It's exciting to see you again,", The blonde looked up. Blaze's blue and green eyes met with deep scarlet as they both narrowed their eyes at each other. Shadow had a smirk on his face as he finished saying; "Howler."

Blaze immediately activated his mask, summoning his claws. "Where is Garroth?"

"Oh, he's still in here,", He chuckled again, tapping his head. "Though, he's struggling. There's chains that are pulling him down further and further to the abyss. If you don't do something soon Blaze...he'll suffocate under his own anxieties."

Blaze's blood was boiling, as he sent daggers towards the man who possessed the man he loved.

"Let him go Shadow!", He demanded, ready to fight if needed.

"You don't want that Blaze,", Shadow assured him, taking off Garroth's glasses. He closed them, saying; "This way of dying for him is way less painful then me just letting him go. Trust me. It'd be wise of you to agree to that promise."

"I didn't promise Garroth anything,", Blaze hissed. "Besides, he said that I could only let him go once you're out. So, I'm not giving up!"

"Hm, fine,", The other man huffed, throwing the glasses aside, probably breaking them once they reached the concrete. "We won't be needing those. Now..." A large cloud of smoke swirled around him, cloaking him for a moment before disappearing to reveal him in a black suit of armor. He held a sword in his hand and with the other, he pressed something behind his ear and helmet formed around his face. "...let's have a rematch shall we?"

Blaze charged, letting his claws clash with his sword. He was strong and Blaze knew he was going to need reinforcements but, he wasn't going to leave without Garroth.
Meanwhile, Garroth was in some dark room, similar to the one who met with Shadow in. Cuffs with large steel chains were around his wrists and ankles, slowly pulling him into the ground. It felt as though it was made of putty as he watched his feet disappear under it. He started pulling and tugging at them, trying his best to stay on the surface. Then, suddenly, a screen appeared in front of him, showing him what Shadow was seeing. He could hear what he was saying to Blaze, poking at him.

"Blaze what are you doing?", He muttered to himself. "It's too dangerous.."

"Garroth wants you to leave,", Shadow mocked, pushing the redhead back.

"I'm not leaving without him!", Blaze insisted again, charging once again. This time, the punch had a little bit more power to it, causing Shadow to fumble back.

Garroth only felt himself sink more and more into the putty below him. It was almost up to his knees as he watched Blaze try and fight off Shadow. But, he could tell that he was holding back. The hero was hesitant to put any real moves on him, in fear that he might hurt the blonde instead. Garroth needed to find a way to stop this, just for a moment so Blaze could call Laurance and request backup. He stopped struggling for a moment, trying to remember the advice Lucinda told him.
Blaze continued to hold Shadow back as he tried to figure out a plan. It seemed as though Shadow was already two steps ahead of him when he took one. He was outmatched and he knew it.

"You're emotions are delicious,", Shadow said, a smirk still prominent on his face. The two were now pacing in a circle, waiting for the other to charge. "The moment you're down, I'll add them on to Ro'Meave's. You're feelings together could make me very strong."
