Chapter 35 Epilogue

Epilogue: 

"You are so fucking stupid Ashton"

I sighed ignoring Jace's stupid comments, I already knew I was stupid. He didnt have to keep reminding me every freaking second! "Seriously man, are you like physically retarded?" Jace continued glaring at me. I didnt answer him waiting for the stupid insults to finish.

"I mean how more stupid can you be? Let Jade see you with another girl? Who does that? Oh wait yeah I remembered, dumb stupid assholes who dont use their head like you!" he said shaking his head. I rolled my eyes "Are you done?" I asked sarcastically.

Jace shook his head "No Im not DONE! Why did you do that Ashton? Do you have any idea how badly you've hurt Jae now?" he continued.

I gulped the lump away from my throat. "I had to Jace" I murmured thinking of Jade's pretty face covered by tears. It had taken every strenght and every muscle I had in me to not go up to her and give her a hug, to feel her warm body pressed against mine. To comfort her and kiss her and plead her to take me back. It had taken a great deal of strenght for me to remain in my spot.

Every part of my body yelled furiously to go to her but yet I didnt. I stayed in my spot watching her heart break slowly, every second of that was so painful, it was more painful to know I was the one who was causing her heart to brake even more, but what was done is done.

"Ashton..I seriously dont get you man! Why would you do something so idiotic like that?" Jace sighed sitting down next to me on the couch.

I sighed sadly "I want her to forget me Jace, I want her to hate me forever and not think of me again, I cant live with the fact that I know that she's hurting because of me, so if she hates me at least she wont be depressed anymore" I admitted sadly.

"And this was the only way? Dont you think that Jade wouldnt be like this in the first place if you hadnt broken up with her?!" Jace said.

I clenched my teeth and took a deep calming breathe willing myself to not yell at Jace "Dont you get it Jace? She cant be with someone like me!" I said getting slightly frustrated, nobody understood me! Jace never saw it from my point of view!

"Ashton man you really are stupid! Jade doesn't give a shit about that! She doesn't care that you're a vampire and that she's half human!" Jace said, his voice raising.

"THAT is exactly why I broke up with her Jace!" I said.

"That is NO reason to brake up with her Ashton!"

"YES IT IS JACE! Do you really think that Jade will love me when she's 30 and I'm still 18? I want her to be with someone who can grow up along with her! Someone who she can spend the rest of her life with normally! Someone who is normal like her! Not a vampire! Not a vampire who puts her life in risk all the time! Not a vampire who is frozen at 18! I want her to be happy with someone like her. Someone who has blood circulating through the veins and a beating heart! Someone who she can marry! Someone who can give her babies! Someone who can be old with her! I cant do any of those stuff with her Jace! I cant do them! I cant be with her normally, I cant grow up with her! I cant take her life away from her Jace I cant! I cant have Jade miss the opportunity to grow up with someone normally! I want her to grow up and marry and have children and then watch them grow! All I want for Jade is to be happy Jace... I want her to grow up and be happy!" I growled through my teeth feeling anger rising in me.

How I wished I was a human! I wish I had a beating heart and blood in my body! I wished I wasnt a vampire, a vampire who was stuck at 18! More than anything I wished I could grow up with Jade! I wanted to be the person who she married with and spent the rest of her life with me, together. I wanted to be the person who she had children with! I wanted to grow old with her and be awesome grandparents!
