Chapter 18

Ashton P.O.V

"ASHTON!!!" Jade hissed quietly as I climbed through her window, she looked at me shocked and she wiped away a couple of tears. Her voice made me feel instantly relaxed, but I didnt like he fact that she had been crying ! I turned to her and frowned "Jade!" I said quietly knowing her parents were right down stairs! I walked to her very fast and she blinked and looked up at me. "Ashton what are you doing here? Please go!" she said looking at her bedroom door nervously. I cupped her face in my hands and looked at her whole face trying to search for any signs of pain, her heart was beating fast and her blood was flowing perfectly well.

"Jade never do that to me again!" I said angrily looking into her green eyes. Jade gulped and made big sad eyes "Do what?" she asked quietly. I mentally groaned, it was hard to stay mad at her if she made those big sad eyes! But I tried my hardest to not fall in those green eyes.

"Call me and not say anything at all! Do you know how worried you made me? I thought something happened to you! You sounded so upset!" I said, when she had called me and not said anything I was ready to get a panic attack! Jade would seriously give me a panic attack someday!

"Im sorry, I wont do it again" she said quietly. "Jade what happened?" I asked more softly wondering what had made her so upset! Jade looked up at me and smiled sadly, she hugged me and buried her face in my chest. I hugged her back and felt an instant relief, having Jade close to me like this made me feel relieved, knowing she was safe in my arms.

"What happened Jade?" I asked again putting my head on top of hers. The shampoo of her hair filled my lungs and I closed my eyes happily enjoying this moment, Jade's warm body against mine brought tingles throughout my whole body.

She didnt say anything and she hugged me tighter, I could hear her heart starting to beat more fast and I got worried. "Tell me whats hurting you Jade" I said pulling back and looking at her face with concern. Jade sighed "I will tell you but right now just hug me" she said hugging me again. I frowned but still wrapped my arms around her tighter.

Jade's heart instantly became steadied and she put her head against my chest. Her warm breath was making me feel tingles all over my body. "I missed you Ashton" she said suddenly. I smiled and grew warm all over "I missed you too Jade" I said meaning it, today had been completely boring without her!

I smelled Jake's scent coming closer and I scrunched my nose, I couldnt believe I was in his house! Luckily I was wearing the perfume which hid my scent! His sudden knock on the door made Jade jump a mile and she gasped looking over at the door.

 She started to tremble as she realized it was her dad, she turned to me and bit on her lip "Ashton please go!" she mouthed. I shook my head, everything would be fine, Jake or any other wolf couldnt smell me. And if they could Jake would've been up here a long time ago to rip me to pieces!

 "JADE!" Jake yelled angrily through the door. I frowned, I didnt like the way he yelled at her! "Ashton go please! Please please go!" Jade said frantically. I sighed and cupped her face "Everything will be fine Jade" I whispered in her ear. Jade's shoulders shook and I could bet her knees were also shaking.

Jake started to pound more on the door "JADE!" he yelled again. Jade gripped my shoulders and I noticed that one of her hands was warmer than the other! Way warmer! "Ashton please! You have to go now!" she said looking at me with fear in her eyes.

 I shook my head "I'll be waiting right outside" I whispered grabbing her warm hand and looking at it. It was red! Very red! How did I not notice this before? I sighed, I had to be more careful with Jade and watch out more for her. I raised an eyebrow and looked at Jade, her cheeks reddened and I longed to touch them.
