You are named after the star, the bearer of light,
You shine above, in the darkness of sky— so bright
Supposedly, you will be scattered in the night
Whereas, your brightness will be their guide
Seemingly, you were lost in a caged of lightThe caged you are in wasn't even translucent
You are a prisoner of darkness, whose light couldn't even transcend
And slowly, you are becoming a star that was about to descend
Leaving only the stardust that will be blown by the wind
And you will be just a forgotten memory no one will yearnedThe world will be ungentle in making you light a bulb
It will require you to fix a haywire, and connect in different spark plug
Until such day would come, realizing things are better left in shrug
Than to continue getting confused over a spark and grudgeIndeed, lights were so enticing to see, yet so hard to be
That even the brightest star are caged in the darkest pit
Much alike to the sun that is still caged in the transient of time
And you are— a prisoner of your own light
