Ok I thought our first night home with Mariah was going to be a breeze, boy was I dead wrong. She was up every two hours. I like to say my loving boyfriend helped but truth of the matter he slept through it all. It was 9 in the morning when Joe came downstairs, his loud ass mouth on the phone with Donnie and I just got the baby to sleep after she cried for two hours.

"Will you shut the fuck up Joe!!"

"What the hell Aaliyah?"

"I just got the baby to sleep after 2 hours of screaming, if you wake her up Im going to kill you."

"Jesus sorry I didnt know"

"for fucks sake there is a baby here now, think about it I havent had more than 2 hours of sleep all damned night."

"Why didnt you wake me up"

"Hmmm I didnt think of that. I tried your ass didnt budge."

"Jesus sorry, why dont you go upstairs and get some sleep before I have to go to this meeting at 1."

"Whoa hold up meeting..what meeting? You never said anything about leaving for a meeting!"

"I didnt know about it, I had a text from Jared we all have a meeting."

"So your telling me we havent even been home 24 fuckin hours and your leaving and ive had zero sleep"

"Im sorry, I cant help it, why dont I have D see if Jenny is busy, if she isnt Im sure she will come over and stay with you well we go do this meeting."

"Its not her responsability to help with this baby its yours. What the hell happened to no obligations or work for at least 2 months after she was born, thats what you told me."

"I know and Jared knows I wont do any bookings but I cant help he called a meeting I have to go, Ill only be gone a couple hours."

I get Aaliyah is tired and apparently I didnt wake up last night but there is no reason she jumped down my throat I didnt know the baby was sleeping. I never had a baby I dont know that they sleep all the time. I didnt realize that Donnie heard the entire thing and before I got to get a full sentence out he said,

"Damn Liyah pissed, I just told Jenny were going to drive down you and me can ride to the meeting together and Jen is going to stay with her."

"I dont get why she is so mad"

"dude seriously?"

"Yeah seriously."

"You just brought Mariah home yesterday then she was up all night, you didnt wake up to help and your leaving, I can see why she is mad."

"Its part the job she knows this"

"and you also promised you wouldnt do anything for a couple months."

"I know but its a meeting its only a couple hours."

"You know this and I know this but she just had her first baby, she is tired and stressed out. Jenny will come over and help her out."

"Thanks yall both have been lifesavers."

"Anything we both been there, Im going to shower and get ready and Jenny and I will be over."

"Let yourselfs in"

"OK can I make a suggestion?"

"Yeah"

"Go in there, help her if Mariah is asleep make her some breakfast, do something to show you care"

"I do care I told her to go to sleep till I had to go"
