Chapter 24

Im a daddy, Aaliyah made me a daddy, something I knew just wasnt in the cards for me  being with Monica. I never expected that night I seen her from the stage that this would happen. When she met me backstage and things heated up I just expected it to be a one night thing, its not like I havent had my share of them. But the minute I kissed her it felt different, there was a spark there that I never felt before. After we had sex I really didnt want her to leave, I think from then I knew there was some kinda of connection between her and I, but I never expected this, but as I look down at my daughter in my arms I knew every ounce of bullshit I went through brought me her and in that instance I dont regret any ounce of it except for the shit it put Aaliyah through. I looked over to see Aaliyah asleep, she had a smile on her face.. she was beautiful. Ive been with some of the most beautiful woman in the world and they all pale in comparison to her. 

I just stood there in awe at both of them at that moment when my cell ringing pulled me from my thoughts. I reached into my pocket pulling it out seeing "Donnie D-Dub Wahlberg" appear on my screen. I hit the accept and whispered in the phone,

"Hello"

"So was Liyah surprised you made it home early?"

"Something like that"

"why you whispering dude"

"Im in the hospital Liyah and Mariah Lynn are sleeping..."

"wait hospital..Mariah Lynn yall didnt!?"

"Yes, we did"

"When..why didnt you call?"

"She went into labor about a hour after I got home and she just delivered Mariah acouple hours ago."

"Holy shit talk about timing, Im glad you decided to take the plane and not wait."

"Well thats not exactly how it happened but we'll go with that."

"wait..what..how?"

"Well I got home and we kinda well you know and her water broke well we were."

"So your telling me you fucked her into labor..what the fuck dude!!"

"NO ASSHOLE if you must know she fucked me till her water broke."

"EWW ok dude didnt need to know that, anyways so how is Aaliyah and the baby?"

"Liyah is good like I said asleep, she did awesome. The baby she is healthy, beautiful I..I just cant believe she is here and mine."

"Now you know I want to see pics of my niece and Jenny is going to want to see when she gets out the shower and I tell her."

"OK well Ill send a pic but let me go I need to take a piss."

"Ok Tell Liyah were proud of her and give her a kiss from us. Call me if you or her need anything at all."

"Thanks dude I will bye."

With that I hung up and walked over placing Mariah in her isolete not really wanting to put her down, I could happily hold her all day. I walked in the bathroom after I pulled the isolete next to the bed.

I woke up the lights in room were off and all I heard was the sound of silence. I sat up and pain shot over  my body, I looked over and seen the baby asleep in her isolete next to the bed, I looked around expecting to maybe find Joe asleep on the couch, but he wasnt here. I panicked for a minute, did he run out on us? Then I heard the click of the bathroom door.
