Chapter 29

Im going to be Mrs. Joey McIntyre, HOLY SHIT!! I cant believe he proposed. The answer was always going to be the same, but its just the fact he feels the way I do sent my heart soaring into the night sky. I feel wetness on my cheek and I knew right away he was crying. I pull back from his arms, as much as I didnt want to I could stay this way forever. 

"I love you Aaliyah Stephine Kelly more than anything in this entire world."

"I love you too Joey, I still cant believe you did this."

"I did I didnt want to wait anymore not being able to call you my Fiancee. I just hope you liked the ring."

"The ring...oh my god I didnt even look at it, I just couldnt believe what was happening."

"Well look at it then, if you dont love it we can go together and pick out another one."

I looked at my hand and it took my breath away. The diamond was huge, and the diamonds on the sides made it sparkle more. I gasped and the tears started again. 

"I wanted to do this weeks ago but someone said to take my time and that you werent there yet. Then the day you had Mariah and Jenny and D came, she told me about the conversation you two had about it and how you had dreams of how I did it I knew it was meant to be. I already had brought the ring at the hospital with me and I was going to do it then, but then Jenny told me that and I knew I wanted to literally make you dream come true."

"JOEY!!!"

I didnt know what to say, what to do, I just jumped into his arms and crushed my mouth on to his. I heard a soft moan come from his lips and his hand snakes around  my waist holding me close to him. I didnt want this moment to end, I wanted to stay this way forever. I was here with the man that is truly my heart, the sun setting behind him, the warm breeze against our face, it was more perfect then anything I could imagined. I pulled back and just looked up into his eyes,

"Joey...."

I just wrapped my arms around her pulling her into me. I couldnt imagine it being more perfect, I couldnt imagine loving anyone more than I love her. I dont know how long we stood just holding eachother as the sunset but she finally pulled back from my arms.

"Joey its getting late, maybe we should head back to your parents they have the baby."

"Trust me my parents raised the 9 of us they are all fine, but maybe we should head back my mom is probably dying to know your answer."

"Wait your parents knew you were going to propose to me tonight?"

"Ok course Aaliyah"

"They must think its too early."

"baby actually they dont my mother is extremely pleased and my father couldnt be more thrilled, But yeah lets head back to my parents, I cant wait to tell them." 

With a fast kiss, I grabbed her hand leading her back to our rental car. The entire drive back to my parents I couldnt help but look over at her, she kept looking to the ring on her hand. Her eyes bright and  her smile priceless. It wasnt a long drive back to my parents, but she sat quitely the entire trip. I dont think she honestly knew what to say. Aaliyah has always been guarded even with me, so this is a huge step not just for me but her. We pulled into my parents driveway and threw the car in park and turned to her.

"You ready to tell them baby?"

she looked up and smiled, and took a deep breath before leaning in kissing my cheek,
