"Son please stop picking at your food." My father says as I just pick at a weird looking mash potatoes.

"Sorry father." I apologized and took a bite at my food.

This is all we had.

We can't go to grocery stores.

We're in lockdown.

Every Friday we always get delivery's of foods, so we don't have to go to the store.

Their was silence, it was a comfortable silence.

It been like this ever since my mother past, due to the virus.

She did work at the hospital, to help patients that had the virus.

But she got exposed—and the virus killed her.

The was 5 months ago.

It still feels so unreal.

I still miss her.

"Daddy...when will we get out of lockdown?" My little sister Molly asked.

"I don't know sweetheart, hopefully soon." He responded and took a sip of water.

She smiled and took a bite of her food.

Molly was everything to me—besides Sam.

She was the only sibling I have and she can light up the mood any minute.

"Father...I'm done, dinner was good." I said standing up, with My empty plate and cup.

"Thank you son, you may leave." He says as I hummed and put away my dirty dishes.

I went back up to my room, flopping on my bed with a sigh.

It was like I was tired, but I couldn't go to sleep.

I smiled softly as I heard my phone buzzing, knowing it's Sam. I grabbed it and see that he is face timing me.

When I clicked to answer it, his face quickly popped on my screen.

"Hey Sammy." I whispered with a smile as he chuckled with a smile.

That smile meant everything to me.

"Hey baby, you're alright?" He asked as I blushed slightly.

"Yep! You?" I asked causing him to chuckle.

"Yes, I miss you." I said as my heart crack slightly.

"I miss you too." I whispered as tears formed in my eyes slightly.

"Baby don't cry." He says as I laughed a watery laugh and wiped my tears.

"I'm sorry." I mumbled, putting my phone on a shelf. Putting my knees to my chest.

I really missed him.

"Don't apologize, how was your day?" He asked as I smiled.

"Good, it would be more better if you were here." I whispered as he frown slightly.

"I know, but soon to know it. We'll see each other." He says as I smiled and grabbed a stuff koala.

Sam got me this stuffy when I was at my lowest-from being bullied and he just gave me this stuff animal.

That was 5 years ago.

"You still have that old thing?" Sam asked with a chuckle and I hummed, putting it against my chest.

"The best gift you ever got me." I whispered and closed my eyes.

We chatted for awhile—well I mean for awhile I mean, all day.

That what I love about our relationship, we can talk all day without getting tired of each other.

I would do anything for Sam, he would do anything for me.

A/n: my heart🥺 anywho-a little longer chapter This time😃🙈
