Sam's POV

"Sam! Wake Up!" My brother Ben Yelled waking me up.

"What?!" I groan and looked at him.

"It's 12:00 in the afternoon-don't tell me if you were on the phone with your lover all night?" He said with a raised eyebrow and I chuckled.

"Yes...yes I did..I don't regret it." I said and hopped out of bed.

He chuckled and shook his head.

"You love him that much don't you?" He asked as I smiled softly.

"Yep...if you had a girlfriend, you would do the same thing?" I asked as he nodded with a shrug.

"Yep little bro." He says and ruffles my hair causing me to glare at him.

"Sorry!" He laughed and left as I chuckle.

I changed and when I got done, I looked in the mirror.

I sigh and ruffled my hair a little bit.

Now noticing that my eyes were a little red from lack of sleep.

But it was worth it talking to Colby all night.

I sigh and went downstairs to get something to eat.

"Good Afternoon Sam, how was your sleep?" My mother greeted with a smile.

"Good mother, thanks." I responded and grabbed a cereal and a bowl.

"Let me guess you talked with Colby all night?" She asked as I chuckle and grabbed the milk.

"Yes..yes I did." I said as she rolled her eyes with a smile.

"What were you guys talking about this time?" She asked as I took a bite of my fruit loops.

"Well...just things....mostly missing each other." I said with a sigh.

I wished he was here with me now.

"I know you guys do, but it's part of the rules and I just don't want you both get covid." She says with a sigh and started to put away the dishes.

"I know...but it sucks that we just have to FaceTime each other." I said and grabbed my phone, seeing that Colby hasn't texted me which made me worried a little bit.

"I know but soon you know it, you both will be in each other's arms." She chirped and I chuckled.

When I got done eating breakfast, I went back upstairs to my room.

It was quiet, too quiet now.

But a peaceful quiet.

I sigh before going on my phone to text Colby.

Sam: Hey baby, good afternoon. Are you awake.

Colby: Yep, totally didn't just woke up like a minute ago.

Sam: oh so you slept in? Thinking of sex?

Colby: No!! Why-why am I asking, I'm gonna call you😂

Before I could type, his collar ID showed up my screen. I rolled my eyes and answered it.

"Hey babe." I cooed as Colby's face popped on the screen.

"Morning." He responded groggily with a chuckle.

"You sleep good?" I asked as he closed his eyes and shook his Head.

"We were calling each other last night....till like 4:00 am...so no I didn't sleep good." He says and I let out a laugh.

"Well I mean...I could hang up and let you sleep?" I said and he shook his head.

"No! Don't hang up." He said and gives me puppy eyes.

"Don't do that, you know I'll give in." I said with a laugh and he still gave me puppy dog eyes.

"Fine, I won't." I gave in as He squealed.

"If you did, then I'll just somehow kick your butt." He says simply and I laugh and shook my head.

"How! We're in a pandemic?" I laughed and he shrugged.

"I got my ways." He says with a glare.

"Sam-oh Hey Colby!" My mother says as she walked in my room, without knocking.

"Hey Mrs. Golbach!" Colby greeted with a smile Through the phone.

"It's nice to see you....Let me guess you both been on FaceTime for about Hours since 12:00?" She asked with raised brows as Colby giggle.

"Yes...yes we have." I said with a shrug.

"You know being on your phones all day is bad right?" She asked as we both nodded.

"Well...their is pandemic out their and this is the only way to talk to him." I said simply and she chuckled, shaking her head before leaving.

Their was silence for awhile, until I broke it.

"I miss you." I whispered as he frown slightly and bit his lip.

"I miss you too." His voice crack slightly.

"I promise whenever this virus is gone, I'll see you." I said as he smile slightly.

"Promise?" He asked as I chuckled slightly.

"Promise."
