Chapter 1

"Pass me that" Bradley Anderson grunted motioning to the bottle that was placed on the table in front of him. He stretched his arm out tiredly, not moving from the couch his body was currently sprawled on. His dark brown eyes were half opened as he stared at the chubby boy with curly ginger locks who sat on the armchair next to him.

The ginger boy grabbed the bottle and gave it to the boy with a slight chuckle. "Man, you're wasted" Bradley looked up to the boy with a blank look until a cheeky smile appeared on his lips. "Am I?" He asked stupidly, making the other boy laugh.

Bradley drank the bottle until it was only half-full. He then gave it to his friend and gave him a pat on the shoulder. "Gotta go then, my friend" He said grinning at him, which earned him a wide grin from the chubby boy back. "Ok, man"

Bradley sighed as he walked past the other people. He stumbled a few times here and then before he spotted a few guys sitting on a sofa, laughing loudly.

"Hey, guys!" He shouted and a few heads turned to him. "Sup, my guy, Anderson" A lean, tall blonde haired boy said, smirking cockily as he stood up and laid his arm around Bradley. "Going already?" The guy asked, chuckling. "Yeah, I have work in the morning" Bradley said, rubbing his face tiredly.

"Naww, poor guy" The guy said ruffling through Bradley's dark brown locks. "Don't need your pity, Andrew" Bradley said with a chuckle as he pushed the tall guy away playfully.

"Goodbye boys!" He shouted and waved to the boys on the sofa. "And girls" He said, winking at the girls who stood somewhat next to him. They giggled and waved back at him.

Bradley made his way to the door and once he stood outside, he took a deep breath of the fresh air.

He started walking down the street, knowing that he was too drunk to drive a car. Suddenly a girl shouted "wait" and started running towards him. He turned around smiling at the girl. "Hey" He said and the pretty, small girl smiled shyly at him, twirling her brown hair between her fingers. "Hey" She said, staring with literal love eyes at the tall guy. "You...wanted something?" Bradley asked, making the girl nod eagerly. She stepped forward shyly and looked up at him. "B-Bradley...I" She started but was too nervous to bring out a sentence.

Bradley chuckled and lowered his head slightly. "It's okay, you can just say what you need to say. Don't need to be embarrassed by anything. It's just me" He said chuckling again and the girl blushed a little. She grabbed something from her bag and held it out. "Please read that" She said nervously looking at the guy in front of her. Bradley's brows furrowed in confusion as he took the letter from the girl. "Is that...a love letter?" He asked and the girl looked shocked at him. "Please just read it" She said, smiling at him. She stepped forward and leaned her head closer to Bradley's but he stopped her carefully. "Hey. I don't do relationships" He said seriously and stepped a little bit away. "It's okay, that's what every boy says" With a last giggle she turned around and ran away leaving a confused Bradley behind.

Bradley sighed and rubbed his face. "I'm too drunk for that shit" He stuffed the letter inside his jeans pocket and started walking again.

He just arrived at his home as his phone rang. He groaned and fished it out of his pocket. "James" He stated slightly annoyed. "Bradley, I have great news!" He shouted and Bradley could imagine the big grin on his chubby friend's face. "Sup?" He asked tiredly, walking up the stairs to the front door. "Did you hear about the new girl?" His friend asked. Bradley shook his head but needed a minute to realize that James could not see that.

"No" He voiced out. "She is told to be absolutely stunning! A blonde princess, she moved in with the old lady that always bakes cookies and gives them away on halloween, it's supposingly her granny" Bradley knew which old lady his friend was speaking about but he wasn't really that interested, at least not at 3am in the morning. "Jamy, don't be a creep, leave that girl alone and the granny, too."

He opened the front door, not caring if his parents were home or not since they didn't really care when he came home.

"You don't understand, Anderson. Frederick told me about her, he saw her already and he said that she looked like a supermodel and the way he described her fits my ideal type exactly. Hot but still innocent. Sexy but-" James got interrupted by Bradley. "You know that's all great, but don't get your hopes up too high, you don't know what she is like. Maybe she is an ass, you dunno. Anyways, gotta go. Bye"

Without waiting for an answer Bradley ended the call and climbed up the stairs to his bedroom. He plopped down on his bed and sighed. He went to pull down his jeans but felt something inside his pocket. He pulled out the letter the girl gave to him. "Oh right" He opened it and made a disgusted face as he saw a whole ass long paragraph written on the paper. He quickly scanned the letter and sighed as he realized it was indeed a love letter. With a sigh he threw it into the trash bin. Harsh but he didn't want to give a girl any hope, so he was clear from the start.. He didn't want no drama.

It was 7am in the morning as Bradley heared his stupid alarm go off and he wasn't happy at all. He sat up but grabbed his head as he felt the headache coming. He should really start to sleep more and drink less, he thought to himself as he stood up.

He got ready but caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror. His eyes widened in shock. "Gosh, I look horrible" He made a disgusted face as he saw the dark circles under his eyes and his pale skin. "I look like a dead motherfucker" He whispered. He quickly shook his head and grabbed himself an apple before leaving the house. He looked at the empty spot where his car should actually be.

He groaned as he realized that it must be still next to Andrew's house where the party took place yesterday. His eyes fell on the old bike that he got when he was like 10. That had to do it, he thought as he grabbed the bike. After struggling for a good fifteen minutes he finally arrived at Andrew's. His eyes lit up as he saw his car. Happily he entered his car and kissed the steering wheel. "Here we go, baby"

He quickly drove off to the bakery shop, he was currently working at. "Hello, Maddie" He greeted, smiling widely at the old lady behind the counter as he entered the shop. The lady looked up and put on a scolding face. "Bradley Anderson, how often do I have to tell you that your shift starts at 8am? Not 8:15am, not 8:30am, at 8am." Bradley stretched his ear sheepishly. "I'm sorry, Maddie. It won't happen again." He thought for a second before a big smile appeared on his face. "Wait a sec" Before Maddie could utter a word, Bradley was gone.

A minute later he entered the shop with a bouquet of flowers. He gave them to Maddie with a cheekily grin. "I'm sorry, it won't happen again." A small smile appeared on Maddie's face before she scolded him again. "I hope so, you little sly dog" She said chuckling and Bradley nodded his head quickly and got to work.

It was already afternoon and his shift would be over soon. He smiled to himself. He looked outside the window and saw a little boy standing outside the shop, gawking at all the cakes. Bradley chuckled to himself as he opened the door and walked towards the little boy. "Hey buddy!" He said that made the little boy squeak in surprise. The boy had blonde hair and mesmerizing big blue eyes that stared curiously at the older boy in front of him.

"Which one is your favourite?" Bradley asked, tilting his head to the cakes. The boy's eyes widened as he looked over to the cakes. "I-I think...the chocolate one." He shyly voiced out and looked down. "I like chocolate" He whispered. Bradley smiled at the little boy. "Wait here" He said before entering the shop.

The boy was curiously looking at the door waiting for the big boy to come out again. After a minute Bradley exited the shop with a chocolate muffin. Bradley smiled widely as he leaned down and held the muffin towards the small boy. The boy's eyes widened even more and Bradley chuckled. "It's yours" He said and suddenly a wide smile appeared on the boy's face, showing small crooked teeth. "Thank you, sir" Bradley chuckled and ruffled the boy's hair. "No problem"

The boy then ran off with the big smile on his small face. Bradley had to smile too thinking about the fact that a little muffin could bring so much happiness to someone.

His shift was finally over and after saying goodbye to Maddie he drove back home. He didn't want to go to any party today, after all it was Sunday and school was tomorrow. Bradley scoffed mentally, as if he would actually care about that.
