Chapter 9
Bradley and Amelia sat down next to each other. Their drama teacher had already announced that they would just work on their project again.
Amelia suddenly grabbed a sheet of paper and turned to Bradley. "You know, I thought we could just write down something like a profile for the characters. Some basic facts like age, name or hobbies and random facts that you think would fit the character and maybe problems they have." Bradley nodded with a small smile. "That's a great idea." He grabbed a sheet of paper but before he started writing, he grabbed his phone and earphones. He saw Amelia looking towards him so he held up his phone. "You want to listen with me?" He asked. Amelia thought for a moment before nodding. Bradley smiled and gave her one ear phone. Bradley searched shortly for a song before finding the perfect song.
Paul Anka - Put your head on my shoulder
Amelia smiled as she heard the song playing. "I love that song" She whispered. Bradley chuckled. "Me too, and it fits the time the role play takes place at" He whispered back. They both giggled and started writing.
Time flew by and Amelia wrote down the last fact about her character. Bradley had finished too.
"Let's tell each other about the characters next time, okay?" Amelia asked and Bradley gave her a nod. Amelia smiled and gave Bradley the ear phone back. "You have great taste in music" She said and Bradley had to smile. "Thank you. You obviously too"
They both had a smile on their faces as they walked out of the school. Their friends were already waiting at the school gates.
"Hey guys!"
Willow shouted and waved at them. "So, there is a problem. We have three bikes but we are six. So who with whom?" Elijah asked as he pointed at the three bikes that belonged to Hannah, James and Willow. "I'm with Hannah" James said and grabbed his bike. "Me and Willow, and you both take Hannah's bike, okay?" Elijah asked and Bradley nodded.
James sat on his bike and Hannah sat behind him. Willow sat on her bike and giggled because Elijah was struggling to sit on her bike. Bradley walked over to the bike and grabbed it. He sat down and turned then towards Amelia. "Is that okay for you?" He asked and Amelia just stared at him for a moment. She then nodded her head and walked towards the bike. She sat down carefully and then she hesitatingly grabbed on Bradley's hoodie. "Ready?" Bradley asked and Amelia hummed. They all started to drive off with their bikes and they were all laughing because Elijah seemed to be scared for his life with Willow's driving skills.
Suddenly Bradley turned around a sharp corner and Amelia squeaked and put her arms around Bradley, holding on to him tightly. Bradley turned around, a look of worry on his face. "You okay?" He asked, his deep voice soft and soothing. "Yes" Amelia answered while her heart was beating like crazy. Probably because of the shock, she told herself.
Around half an hour they arrived somewhere near a forest. They laid their bikes on the ground and started to walk through the forest. A little while later they saw a beautiful lake appearing in their sight.
They then laid a big blanket on the ground and sat on it. Willow placed the cupcakes on it and Elijah laid snacks he had bought on the blanket. "Jamy give me your music box" Bradley said and James grabbed his music boy and gave it to his friend. Bradley grabbed his phone and the box and started playing 80s music.
"So, mysterious new girl, tell us something about you" Willow said whilst munching on cupcakes. "Okay, but I know nothing about you guys, too, so you have to tell me about you too." She said and the others agreed with her. "Okay, my name is Amelia Garcia. I'm 17 years old and I turn 18 in Mai. I have a little brother and I'm currently living with my grandmother."
"Your granny is the lady who gives away cookies on Halloween, right?" James asked, and Amelia chuckled. "She does love baking cookies, so I guess. Her house is right near the cafe we met last week" Amelia said turning towards Bradley. Bradley nodded before his eyes suddenly widened. "W-Wait, you live there?" Amelia nodded, a confused look on her face. "Did you...give me the blanket and the pillow when I was drunk?" He asked, embarrassment written all over his face. Amelia nodded whilst biting her lip in order to not laugh at the embarrassed boy. "Oh damn" Bradley said, hiding his face with his arm in embarrassment. "I'm sorry for bothering you" Amelia started laughing. "It's okay" She said and Bradley had to smile as he saw the happiness on the girl's face.
"Okay, guys. You know what? Let's play truth or dare" James suddenly said, clapping his hands. Willow groaned. "That game is lame" She said but Jamy just smirked. "Not then I play it. I think you are just scared" He said an arrogant look on his face. "Bitch, I'm not" Willow said, smacking James' arm with a scowl on her face. "Great, then we can play it. I start, Willow. Truth or dare?"
Willow glared at the smirking boy next to her. "Truth" James laughed. "Only losers, choose truth" Willow glared at Jamy. "Okay, then, dare" James smiled, a look of approval covering his face. "Okay...I dare you..." He looked around, then suddenly he smirked.
"I dare you to kiss Bradley"
