Chapter 2
It was Monday and Bradley was in school and was currently glaring at the sheet of paper on his desk. "Bradley! Are you actually listening?!" Bradley lifted his head up to glare at his best friend. James sighed as he looked at the sheet of paper on his friend's desk. "Look, I'm sure you can still improve your grade. It's just Science. Everyone is bad at that" Bradley sighed and stuffed the paper inside his bag. "I don't even care" He mumbled tiredly rubbing his face. "What did you want to tell me?" He asked, resting his head on his outstretched arm.
James grinned excitedly. "Did you see her?" Bradley furrowed his brows. "Who?" James chuckled. "The new girl, of course, dummy" The sleepy boy rolled his eyes playfully. "Anyways...She.Is.Absolutely.Gorgeous."James explained looking outside the window. "Absolutely stunning"He said dreamingly. "I'm sure" Bradley said, chuckling.
It was finally lunch time and Bradley was sitting on a table surrounded by James and a girl named Hannah. "Did you see her, the new girl?" James asked Hannah with a wide grin. Bradley rolled his eyes internally. That guy was smitten. Hannah nodded excitedly. "She is so pretty. And she seems to be really intelligent, she was in my Math class and she knew, like, every answer! She is amazing!" James clapped his hands happily and nudged his best friend's side. "Did you hear, she is smart, too!"
"Her name is Amelia Garcia, I think." The girl said smiling. "Wait- Isn't that her?" James asked suddenly and Hannah turned their head around. "Wow" She breathed out, and Bradley chuckled while shaking his head. He hadn't even looked up. "Yo, look man!" James said urging Bradley to turn around. With a roll of his eyes; Bradley turned around with a grin. His breath slowly stopped as his eyes fell on the girl, everyone seemed to be crazy about.
She was rather small. She wore a light blue sweater and casual jeans who emphasized her curves. She had beautiful long wavy blonde hair and then there was her face that was blessed with beautiful futures. She was stunning, Bradley couldn't deny it. But there was something about the girl that just made her seem...sad.
The girl wasn't surrounded by a pile of fangirling students like Bradley had expected, no, she was completely alone. The students watched agitated as Andrew, a cocky quarterback, sat down next to the beauty. Andrew seemed to say something, but was completely ignored.
After a few more minutes, the girl just picked her tray and left. "Wow, he was dumped pretty quickly," James said, and the others chuckled.
Bradley smiled to himself, it was pretty funny to him, how everyone was so excited every time they got a new student. Yeah, they weren't the biggest school, but it was still slightly scary to know what a new student had to go through.
But that was always the case when James met a new girl. He fell in love with almost every girl. But sadly the girls didn't seem as interested in James as he was in them.
"Hey, do you wanna go to the party on friday?" James suddenly asked. "It's at this girl's house...Betty, I think" He continued and took a bite of his sandwich. "Yeah, that's a good idea. Actually, I wanted to go with Lizzie to the movies but she dumped me, so I'm free" Hannah said and Bradley just nodded.
"Hey Bradley"
A feminime voice suddenly called out, making the three friends look up. Bradley just nodded at the girl as he realized it was the love letter girl. The girl winked at him and gave him a somewhat seductively smile.
As she was walking away, James nudged Bradley teasingly. "Man, who was that?" He asked and Hannah squeaked excitedly. "She has definitely a crush on you!" Bradley just groaned. "Yeah, she gave me a love letter yesterday" He mumbled munching his sandwich annoyed. "How come that all the girls like you?" James said with a chuckle before suddenly smirking. "They should rather focus on me," He said, confidence filling his voice. Hannah and Bradley just laughed at that.
