(Minnie's POV)
I crawled out of bed, hoping Soojin would make us something good to eat. There was a fridge with normal food in it, so I don't see why not. But Soojin and Soyeon were both sleeping. What has it been? Three hours? I thought we agreed to take a nap. But I didn't care that much. I checked to see what was in the fridge.
'Hmm...oranges, lettuce, small fish, milk, sausages? How am I supposed to fit these together into one meal?' I shrugged to myself and grabbed an orange. Might as well eat a snack right now. It was a regular orange, like the ones on earth. Finally, one thing that's familiar. As I was eating, Soojin came.
"Hi, Soojin. Are you hungry? You can have an orange." I said. Soojin shook her head and sat down next to me. I watched as Soojin's eyes fixed on my snake bite.
"What...what is that?" She said as she pointed at the injury. I quickly covered it with my hand, because, to be honest, I was scared of looking at it myself. It was bloody and it looked terrifying.
"Oh...well, I got bit by a random snake that Soyeon later killed," I said like that was no big deal. At this point, I don't even care that much. We've experienced too much.
"Oh. Umm...are you okay?" Soojin asked awkwardly, without knowing what to do. I nodded but didn't say anything; I didn't want her to worry about me. Thankfully, Soyeon walked in, just in time to stop the awkward pause I had made. She walked to the sink and got some water.
"So, are we just going to stay here? " Soojin asked.
"Well, why not? The ground is shaking outside, this is the only place that is similar to earth here, and there's food here to keep us alive." Soyeon listed all the great reasons, but to me...this place didn't seem right.
"I mean...yeah, but...don't you feel like this place is...odd in a way?" I didn't know what I was trying to do. The words escaped from my mouth like I had no self-control.
"I suppose," Soyeon agreed. "I also get a weird feeling, but that's not a big deal. Because this place is the best place we've seen so far. We should stay." Soojin and I nodded, agreeing with Soyeon.
"But don't you want to find Miyeon unnie, Yuqi, and Shuhua?" We had to get back together. Even if there was no hope to leave the moon, at least we could stay together. Soyeon put an expression on her face that said something like, 'Duh! Do you expect me to say no?'
"Yes, but-" Before Soyeon could finish her statement, there was a knock on the door. The three of us froze there, afraid to move even an inch. I put my finger over my lips, indicating them to stay quiet. I tiptoed over to the door and attempted to peak through the old cracks of the wood to see who it was.
'Was it the owner of the house?' I thought to myself. I shook the thought off and opened the door. In an instant, a gentle yet powerful pull yanked me outside. I glanced behind me, and Soojin and Soyeon were also carried by the force. No matter how I moved, I could not leave the force. I was bringing us to somewhere...
Suddenly, the moon that was once shaking stopped, and the whole place transformed into a palace. The force finally stopped, and my feet touched the cold, golden floor. I looked around, and there, stood Miyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua, right there.
