Jungkook

"Y/n?"

No response.

"Tch. It's only been two minutes," Jungkook mutters. "Yeah right you're not tired." He brushes the stray hair out of Y/n's face and sighs, propping himself up on one elbow to look at her.

He waves his hand above her face. No response.

"Woah Y/n look we're being attacked again."

Nothing.

Safe.

Jungkook sighs and relaxes, and looks at all of her features- taking special interest in her lips. He kissed those lips about a week ago and then she went on to tell him she was a lesbian. He only believed her for a day or two before suspecting that she was lying.

"Why did you lie?" Jungkook murmurs aloud. "Do you just not like me? Were you letting me down easy?"

Y/n isn't lesbian. That's a fact. Jimin told him- though he didn't need to. She's pretty obviously into guys. He heard it from her own mouth today.

Jungkook sighs and leans back into the couch, ready to rest for a couple of minutes. But then his hand burns. He stands up immediately. He won't wait to see if Y/n catches fire this time. He has to go find her now.

Jungkook hurries down the hallway she and Yoongi disappeared into, hand burning hotter and hotter the closer he gets to her. He doesn't have to search for long, because he hears voices behind one door that belong to her and Yoongi.

Jungkook stops and raises his hand to knock on the door, but stops himself when Y/n asks Yoongi a question.

"So then why am I burning out so quickly?" She asks.

Why would she ask Yoongi that? Does he know the answer?

"I don't know."

Guess not. Jungkook gets ready to knock, only to stop yet again at Yoongi's next words.

"Anyway, if you don't do it with Jungkook, you will die."

Jungkook's eyes widen. Die? She'll die?

...do what with Jungkook? What's going on? Jungkook leans closer to the door to hear better.

"I-I'll die? It's gonna kill me?" Y/n sounds a little panicked. Jungkook's burns get a little hotter. He doesn't want to make her wait but he's curious. Besides. She isn't coming out either. She must be okay for now.

"Yeah," Yoongi says. "Dad says that it almost happened before with another vessel. The demon told him in a dream that if the vessel does not reproduce, it will burn. Catch on fire. It can't hold the energy and power."

Jungkook frowns. Reproduce? Y/n told him that if she has a kid, that kid could get her demon. She said she didn't want a kid. But... she'll burn if she doesn't? Is that what he's hearing?

What does that have to do with him?

"So then what happens to the demon?"

"It dies as well."

"So if I don't make a baby, it will throw my entire body and itself away?"

"Yes."
