"Ew" was all I heard. Are you fucking kidding me? If someone says you're cute, YOU SAY THANK YOU. NOT EWW. "You sonofa-" I started, only to be cut off. "Paige!".
I watched as he got into his car. "He's a dick!" I said to her. Honestly! That was insanely rude!! I am royally pissed.
"I know, I know. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything.."
"You think?" I said. I was pissed but I wouldn't blame her.
"You wanna come in?"
I sighed, "Yeah sure".
As soon as I stepped in, a rowdy dog came trampling in. aww! "Salem!! down!" Alice yelled, trying to calm down the overly excited dog. I laughed as he refused and ran away. "He's cute" I said. "I promise I won't tell him" she giggled. I rolled my eyes but laughr d with her.
We spend our time her room, talking about anything to everything. Like how she and Jai "had fun" the night before. Didn't they just meet??... ok no comment. "So I see that Vincent has some interest in you". I looked at her. "How do you know." I asked.
"I see how he looks at you".
I sighed. Might as well talk about.
"Yeah, I've known for a while" I honestly told her.
"Why haven't you told him?"
Damn she asks a lot of questions.
"I don't want to ruin our friendship. I love him but not like that, y'know?"
"I see. You don't want to risk what you have already for something that won't happen". Damn. She knew exactly what I meant. "Hey, where's the bathroom?" I asked, feeling a little sick again. "Down the hall, last door" she instructed. I quickly walked out, bumping into something. I was easily knocked to the ground because of my small size. "oww!" I said, my leg hitting the little table. "Watch where you're going next time"
It was Tyler. Atleast he was nice enough to help me to my feet. He slipped passed my to his room, right next to the bathroom. I sighed. Can this day get any worse? Jeez. I went in, closing the door behind me. I stared into the mirror. There seemed to be a bruise on my cheek that I haven't seen before. Where the hell did that come from? Did I get it whilst I fell?? I slightly poked at it, I winced at the menacing pain. Damn.
I checked my back pocket. Good it's still there. I pulled up my sleeve, revealing the small short creases that inhabited my arm. I took it out of my pocket, placing the smooth surface against my skin. It was cool and rigged at the edges. I slowly moved it from side to side as I bit my lip.
