I clinged to you like a life support,
Though I looked desperate but you were all I got.
To the best of my ability I tried to understand you ,
I didn’t even care if people saw it differently ,
like if I was misunderstood
but you made me pay for my dependence,
you made me create boundaries on how much love I can dispense.
You left me shattered,
blind with no light to guide me at night,
you left without a bye.
You couldn’t give a reason,
you couldn’t even leave me knowing you're not a friend in season, you left without saying our last hi’s.
Why? Why would you decide to take me back to that dark hole,
A place where all I see is nothing but I feel every touch,
I feel every slight breeze,
I hear every sound even the glass break and the pin drops,
Last time I heard a glass it was my heart,
since I can’t see the pieces I keep stepping on it,
Now my feet bleed.
Explanation:
You're left alone by friend but this time you can say you've been dumped by a friend. Leaving without a bye, sending you into a dark hole of loneliness, leaving you vulnerable not just to others but to yourself.
