We were having the best times of our life,
We played our favourite songs almost every time,
So close we got to eachother that if anyone told us we won't be forever we would never believe,
Seems like we didn't have to be told,
We waited and now we see.
I was so free arround me,
You were so loose arround me,
Together we made memories;
Ones that in our hearts will never cease to be,
Now we don't even know eachother anymore,
We're now strangers and this love is not like before.
Before each day felt like the first,
Now each second I get tired and I need rest,
Our love is now sour.
The only explanation I can give is that we made sacrifices for eachother,
We abandoned our dreams to be lovers,
I think we're still in love but not with eachother,
It's with the dreams that we once left alone.
We are the same people that were mad over eachother,
Now that season is gone.
We were mad and living a fantasy,
Now we're sane and living happy.
We're still the same people,
Just that we reset our priorities and "us" wasn't on the long list.
We're still the same people but with different mindset
This change made our sweet love so sour,
The flies spit each time they taste it.
