Sheo FanFic - It Must Be Real

- C h a p t e r T h r e e -

Theo's P.O.V

Shai kissed me. We kissed. Shai likes me. I like Shai. This is all so sureal... Shai's leaning against my shoulder when Neil comes to us. She doesn't move. He's already seen her leaning on me so there's really no point in her moving.

"Next scene!" He claps his hands together and I help Shai up by her waist. She smiles at me, I smile back.

When were finished with the scene, it's all we had to do for today. I take Shai back to the private hotel. I desperately want to hold her hand or touch her shoulder - anything. But I can't. We travel in public.

I pull on my shades, hiding me from the rest of the world. Shai puts on a beanie and mirror shades. Not much of a disguise but it'll do. We walk down the street, avoiding contact with everyone as possible. We manage to get back with no public spotting it's us. Luckily.

"So, Shai?" I leadingly ask.

"Yup?" She replies.

"Do you want to come around mine for  a bit?" She shrugs.

"I guess that won't be so bad." She smirks and I wink. I open my room up for her. She goes in first thanks to my gentlemen-ness. She plumps up one of my bed cushions and then throws herself, face first onto my bed. I sit next to her.

"Miles said he's planning on suprising you." She sits up next to me.

"Yeah? How?" Shai asks suddenly intrigued.

"I don't know..." I say mischievously. I know. And I'm going to end up telling her.

"What is it?!" She shrieks like a big kid.

"Uh..." I play dumb. "Miles is planning on..." I pause for suspension. "Oh Shai, I can't tell you." She groans and I smirk.

"Why?" She whines.

"Because...we've-all-planned-to-get-your-parents-to-visit-you-." I release a long needed breath. That was a mouth full.

"What?" She says stunned.

"We're getting your mom, dad and brother to visit you. Lori, Lonnie and Tanner to visit you." I say as if she's two.

"Your kidding?" Her face is unreadable. I hope she's happy. This took me forever to plan. I had to get Zoë to do the dirty work of finding phone numbers for me. Luckily she didn't need the Yellow Pages. Zoë you'll find is an incredible detective... I said Miles planned it but I think she knows it was me. Why would Miles do that anyway? He's never even met her family. I have.

"Nope. I-We got a few numbers, we made a calls...and done!" I grin as happily as I can. Is Shai happy? I want her to be.

"You've done all of this, haven't you?" She grins at me. I can't help but grin back. I try to hide but who can't when it's Shai? "You have!" She shouts. I push my finger to her lips.

"Shhh!" I say pointing to the wall behind me. "Ansel is next door."

"And?" She says loudly.

"He'll hear."

"And your afraid of that?" She says as if she's acting like Tris Prior.

"I-No." I smirk. "You tell them. I won't be there though."

"Theo?" I look into her eyes.

"Hmm?" I smile.

"Are we a thing?" I grin as widely as I can.

"Do you want to be?" I love being indecisive. It's the best way to go about...everything. She subtly nods. We're a thing. "That's good to hear." I say complimentitive.

"Your such a goof!" She says smiling.

"Your a goof!" I say, continuing our playful argument.

"So, my parents and Tanner are coming...What about you, Theo?" I send a confused look her way. "When was the last time you saw your parents?" Shai probes. I think about how I answer this.

"Before Insurgent started? A while after Divergent?" I say shrugging. My family means a lot to me and I haven't seen them. My mom - Jane, my dad - Philip and my four siblings. Two sisters and two brothers.

"How about we arrange for them to come over here?" She asks. I want to.

"I don't think that's wise." I say calmly.

"Why not?" Her voice is so innocent.

"They don't know anything. I haven't even told them about us yet or-"

"Theo, it'll be nice."

"Shai. Look, I know you want to do this for me but...You know how it is, they can't all travel over here. You know how much that'll be and the stress-" I stop. I'm getting agitated over nothing.

"Okay." She smiles but I don't think it's 'okay'. I want to apologise but the words don't come out. "Well, can I have a hug before I go?" She asks rising from my bed. I grin and then gently pull her face to mine.

I'm not entirely sure how long we end up kissing for but we don't hear whoever came in. I pull away from Shai, confused to who's there. Ansel.

"Oh! So that's what all the shouting is!" Ansel says. I almost cringe. Did he see us kissing? I'm pretty sure he did.

"Ansel we-" Shai begins to explain.

"Your together. I get it." He says. All cool. Yeah.

"Ansel. Please-" I begin. "Don't tell anyone." I beg. I know Shai doesn't want anyone to know.

"I'm not going to but don't you think you should at least tell Neil, Rob and Veronica?" I look at Shai. She looks unsure herself.

"I don't think we're ready for that." I grab Shai's hand and squeeze it.

"Okay. Sure." Ansel says. "See you tomorrow." He leaves. I laugh with hysteria and look at Shai. She's a little stunned.

"Oh my God. That was-"

"Awkward."

"My thoughts exactly." She says smirking.

Shai's P.O.V

Ansel caught us. I smile worriedly at Theo and then give him a quick peck. Theo insists that he walks me across the hallway to my room but I insisted otherwise. Literally two steps away. Not even that... When I get back, I decide to have a herb bath.

After I've bathed for what seems a very long time, I change into some comfy gear - loose pants and a camisole top. I throw myself onto my bed. Everything happened so fast today. Me and Theo kissed. I finally admitted my feelings to him. Ansel caught us. Everything has flown by today. Incredibly fast at that too.
