"I'm Hange Zoe!" They exclaimed. A seemingly nervous boy stood beside them.

"I'm Moblit Berner." He shook Erwin's hand too, but in a much calmer manner.

"Its nice to meet you two." Erwin spoke, eyeing them both before Hange directed the attention to themself.

"Hey, before you misgender me, I go by they/them pronouns. So don't call me a girl, got that?" They said, resting all their weight on one foot with their arms crossed.

"Oh- of course. They/them." Erwin reiterated, receiving a smile from Hange. Moblit nodded approvingly.

"So." Mike said. "This is the science room where Mr. Lynne teaches. Classes are 40 minutes long from 9 am to 2:10 pm 3 days a week." He walked over to the desk where a piece of paper sat. Picking it up, Mike handed it to Erwin. "Here is your schedule Mr. Lynne has prepared for you. You'll have all your classes with Hange and Moblit, so they'll lead you around." Hange protested quietly out of surprise before being shushed by Moblit.

Erwin took the paper and observed his schedule quickly.

1st: 9:00 - 9:40
2nd: 9:45 - 10:25
3rd: 10:30 - 11:10
11:10 - 11:55 Lunch
4th: 12:00 - 12:40
5th: 12:45 - 1:25
6th: 1:30 - 2:10

"Alright.." He said, folding the paper ave stuffing it in his pocket.

Mike looked around briefly before clearing his throat.
"Welp, you two have fun while Erwin and I continue walking around." He said to Hange and Moblit.

"Okay." Hange answered before adjusting their glasses as they watched the males leave. "What a weirdo! I have to lead him around??" They scoffed after they were out the door.

"Yeah." Moblit said with a small smile. "Now you'll have a friend who's as weird as you."

"Hush!! Hand me that yardstick over there."

Outside once again, Erwin remained quietly in step with Mike towards another one of the white buildings.

"Surprised?" He suddenly questioned the boy.

"What-? No."

"Hange and Moblit are quite the pair."

There was a brief silence. Mike seemed to be blind to the awkwardness due to the fact he kept a straight face and didn't glance at Erwin.

"Agreed." The teen answered after far too long. He internally cursed himself and sighed.

"This next building is where the history and language arts classrooms are. I'm pretty sure they're empty so we'll look around real quick."

They did just that. It was a typical history classroom with maps and old president photos along with some random military weapon books on the shelf near a window. Erwin assumed Mr. Gelgar was the teacher based off the name written on the whiteboard.

"This is the history room, if you couldn't tell already. Mr. Gelgar is the teacher." Mike informed, not saying much after that. They moved on.

In the language arts room, there were a lot of punctuation puns on the wall. One of them read "'Let's eat grandma!' vs 'Let's eat, grandma!'" and Erwin couldn't help but cringe.
