Part two of Rubes_0728 request.

Okay maybe the song choice was Blaine's last attempt at flirting. But why did Kurt go along with it? And why did they sound so good together!?

"Blaine! I think we have a really good chance of getting in! We sounded amazing!"

"We really did. We should celebrate!"

Kurt looked at him. "Really?"

"Why not?"

Kurt continued to stare. "Hey, it's not a date. We're just... celebrating." Blaine said, hoping Kurt would say yes.

What if I wanted it to be a date...? Kurt thought.

He shook his head and agreed to meet Blaine for coffee later.

*******

"Blaine, your phone is ringing!!" Kurt called, blushing a little when said boy came out of the bathroom with very untamed curls.

"Hey, Nick. What's up?"

"YOU GOT IN!!!"

"I-I did?" Blaine grinned. "And Kurt?"

"Him too!! There's a part this Saturday! You have to go! The Warbler celebrations are everything!"

Hearing only one side of the conversation, Kurt was intrigued to know what happened. Blaine hung up, smiling.

"We're in the Warblers! Party on Saturday. You in?"

Kurt nodded.

"Alright!" Blaine cheered. "I'll fix my hair and then we can do coffee."

Kurt nodded again, having lost the ability to speak.

*****

When they walked into the Lima Bean, Kurt's heart rate sped up. Something was off. Was he seriously catching feelings for this guy? The one that counted flirting as a hobby?

He rolled his eyes at himself, and pulled out his wallet to pay. What Blaine did next confirmed his unreal crush.

"Don't you dare, dummy, it's on me."

Now Kurt was really losing it. What was wrong with him? This guy wasn't even his type! He talked a lot, actually enjoyed singing, and he knew Harry Potter!?

So maybe he was exactly Kurt's type...

"You're thinking about something important." Blaine said, studying Kurt's face. "Are you okay?"

"Yes, of course! Just can't believe I'm in the Warblers, you know?"

"It is pretty crazy." The gelled boy agreed.

Kurt took a sip of his coffee. "I love Broadway, so being in a show choir and Theater will be so much fun!"

"Wait... I love Broadway too!" Blaine grinned at their shared amusement.

"This is going to be awesome! I have all the Playbills and sheet music for like seven different musicals. Especially-"

"HAMILTON!" Kurt and Blaine shouted.

"This is insane." Both boys suddenly felt a lot more comfortable around each other.

********

When the party came around, Kurt found himself sweating bullets. He liked Blaine. He actually liked Blaine! But what did that mean? He'd already pushed the boy away. He couldn't bring it up again. What if that look weird? Of course it would look weird!!

"Ready, Kurt?" Blaine asked, smoothing down his hair.

Kurt had only seen him fix his hair a handful of times, but it was a transformation each time.

"Ready." Kurt gulped.

Arriving at the party, each of the Warblers welcomed them to the show choir group.

"Listen up everyone!" Wes said, smiling. "We have two new members! Kurt and Blaine! Let the games commence!"

"Hey, truth or dare anyone?" Thad suggests.

"Yeah!" David agrees. "I'll start! Nick, truth or dare!"

"Truth."

David thought for a moment. "Is it true that you got a scholarship to Harvard?"

"Well..."

Everyone clapped for the third time that day. Meanwhile Kurt was sort of just watching. Blaine could almost sense his panic.

"Hey, you good?"

Kurt stared into his hazel eyes. He became lost moments after, frantically searching for a way out so he could answer the stupid question.

"Um.. y-yes."

"Hey, Spin the Bottle!!" Someone yelled, and Kurt's insides turned to ice. How much time had he spent in Blaine's eyes?!

Blaine looked at him, and the ice melted along with Kurt himself. He could do this. He wanted to do this.

"Ooh Nick and Jeff!"

Kurt watched. It started slow, and then continued until Sebastian broke them up. Suddenly, Kurt couldn't figure out why he was blushing so much.

That is, until Blaine spun next. He was staring at the bottle way too closely. Of course, it landed on one tall Hummel.

"Blaine and Kurt!"

Soon, neither Kurt or Blaine could feel anything. The room went silent according to them. In around four seconds, Blaine asked a simple question.

"Are you okay with this?"

Kurt only nodded, leaning closer...

The only word they could've used to describe the interaction was FIREWORKS. Explosions of emotion and yearning. Blaine didn't pull back and neither did Kurt. If someone was trying to stop them, they couldn't tell.

And then Kurt's eyes were open, and Blaine was right in front of him. Kurt's face was red as ever as he quietly removed his hand from Blaine's now untamed curls.

"Damn, Hummel." Someone said.

Blaine grinned at him. "Definitely not what I thought would happen."

Kurt smiled, inching a little closer his new lover.

Was this any good? I know I'm a little rusty. Some parts may feel rushed and I apologize. I'm trying to get back into my writing style. Although writing all together is very therapeutic, so thank you for the requests!
