Blangst/eating disorder

I had no idea Blangst was an actual term among the Glee fandom but I am in love with it! Anyways, This was requested by hertyhert1

Basically, Blaine has a eating disorder. They didn't specify exactly how they wanted it to go but I think it's okay... thanks for the request! Keep them coming!

Was Blaine sick? Kurt wasn't sure. He came straight home and locked himself in the bathroom. It wasn't regular behavior. Maybe he just had to pee really bad.

That wasn't the problem, though. He'd been in there for at least an hour. Eventually, Kurt put his ear to the door and heard absolute anguish. He put his hand over his mouth. Blaine was sick. He was definitely sick.

"Blaine?" Kurt called through the door. "Babe, are you okay?"

A few moments later, a low "Shit..." was heard. Then louder, "I-I'm okay! I'll be out in a minute!"

Kurt didn't like the way his voice wavered, but he trusted his boyfriend. Blaine would tell Kurt what happened... right?

He sat on the couch and waited for a few minutes. When Blaine finally left the restroom, he went straight to grab water. He didn't even acknowledge Kurt sitting there, waiting for an explanation.

He must've popped like five pieces of gum in his mouth. What shocked Kurt the most was when his hand reached for the front door, signaling he was about to leave and go somewhere.

"Blaine?"

He turned around and met Kurt's eyes. At first they were confused, then they were concerned. Despite Blaine's effort, he looked like a zombie. He looked sick.

"A-are you sure you're okay? You sounded sick in there..." Kurt said, looking from Blaine's eyes to the floor.

He gestured for Blaine to sit next to him, and Blaine seemed to debate on his next move. He caved in when he noticed Kurt playing with his thumbs. A sign of fear. He sat next to Kurt, trying to lighten the mood.

"I'm fine, Kurt. Really."

"Did you eat something wrong?" Kurt blurted out. "I could hear you throwing up in the bathroom, Blaine! You aren't fine! You sounded really sick!"

"I was..." Blaine wished he could think of a good excuse, something to make Kurt forget about it.

But he couldn't, and he hated lying to his boyfriend anyway. His lack of response led Kurt into a panic. He hugged Blaine, and Blaine didn't have time to tell him not to...

Kurt almost instantly felt how empty his stomach was. His remembered when Blaine said he wasn't hungry that morning. For a few mornings, actually. There was no way he wasn't hungry.

He didn't want to go on dinner dates anymore. He would cut up his food when they ate at school, but Kurt never saw anything go past his lips. When the realization hit him, it felt like someone had stabbed him.

"B-Blaine..." Kurt whispered. "Tell me you didn't do it on p-purpose..."

He hadn't noticed Blaine putting his head in his hands. Kurt lowered himself so he could see Blaine's face which was now covered in wet streaks.

"Why, Blaine...?"

It took him a minute to answer.

"I don't look... the way people are supposed to look..." He paused. "I look in the mirror, and I see this ugly... thing... and I just shouldn't look like that. So I fix it."

"Vomiting isn't going to fix anything, Blaine... You're beautiful just the way you are.." Kurt reasoned.

"The kids at school don't think so..." Blaine confessed, his voice breaking. "And I don't blame them. I-I'm sorry for worrying you, but I don't want to be fat."

"But you're so skinny... you haven't been eating! This isn't healthy. You can't possibly think this is good for you..."

"I don't care if it's good for me! I don't want to be judged! I'll look better if I just keep doing it... I know I will."

He seemed so determined, and it scared Kurt. He put his hand over Blaine's and tried again.

"People are always going to judge... it's just what they do. But I won't ever judge you. I know you look beautiful, and anyone who says otherwise is full of it. Making yourself sick won't help you or them... it'll just hurt you."

Blaine squeezed his eyes shut, trying to block out the emotions he was feeling.

"Blaine, I'm going to love you no matter what you look like... you know that... right?" Kurt assured him.

"Y-yeah.." Blaine said. "I know..."

He let Kurt pull him into a hug where they stayed for a very long time.
