Holy frig I love this request. It's jus so cute and honestly I know I'm gonna have fun writing it. Keep the requests coming! (Again, preferably on my requests chapter) I also know this should be a long one thankssssss. 🥰

"Kurt?" Blaine whispers. "Kurt, are you alright?"

They were laying in bed watching movies, and Kurt looked like he was going to pass out. He was hot and his eyelids kept threatening to close. That is, until Blaine said something and he regained a natural form.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Kurt replied.

He wasn't fine. Of course he wasn't fine! He felt like his head was going to explode. Still, he wasn't about to tell Blaine. He could handle it. Besides, it wasn't that bad...

A few moments later, Kurt felt ten times worse than before and it was beginning to show. He was visibly sweating, and he couldn't go more than four minutes without coughing or sneezing.

"Are you sick or something?" Blaine finally asked.

Kurt quickly shook his head. Blaine didn't believe him for a second. He couldn't for the life of him figure out why Kurt would hide being sick. It was obvious he felt like shit, and at that point Blaine wasn't sure why he was even trying to hide it.

"Maybe you should let a doctor determine that..." The gelled boy suggests. "You don't look so good."

"I'm fine, Blaine!" Kurt snapped.

He didn't like the mention of a doctor. Kurt never did. Not since his mom died anyway. The hospital was like this cursed building where people go in and die or become increasingly depressed every time they leave.

"Kurt? Seriously, we should go see a doctor."

That was his experience with the place, anyway. He wasn't about to go back and relive it all over again. He'd rather pretend he was fine, and wait for whatever he'd caught to go away.

"Kurt, you there?"

In the midst of this thought process, he hadn't realized Blaine had been talking to him the whole time. Not until he could hear the question in Blaine's soft voice.

"What?"

Blaine just stared at him. This was ridiculous. What the hell was going on?! Blaine really wanted to just drop everything and demand for Kurt to tell him, but he knew that wasn't the best way to get through to someone.

"I-I'm gonna get a cup of water." Kurt finally said, moving to get up.

If nurses could give him water at school and expect it so solve all his problems, so could he. It helped his dry throat, so that was good, but something wasn't working right.

The room was spinning a little, and when he took a step forward, he immediately fell to the floor. The thump was evident, and Blaine nearly tripped over his own feel running down the stairs to his husband.

"Kurt?!" Blaine panicked, sinking to his knees and shaking him. "Kurt, wake up! Please, wake up!"

Kurt wasn't responding. The gelled boy ran over to grab his phone and call 911.

"Hello? Operator?"

************

"B-Burt?" Blaine stuttered, thanking Jesus that Kurt's father had picked up the phone.

"Blaine? What's wrong, you sound scared."

"Kurt was sick b-but he didn't wanna go to the hospital, a-and I knew something was wrong and then he fell and the police were here and-"

"Wait, slow down. Where's Kurt?"

"With the doctors. I'm not allowed to see him..." Blaine nearly broke into tears hearing his own words.

"Okay, we'll be there soon."

Blaine could vaguely hear Burt yelling at Finn to get his shoes on before the call went to static. Not even ten minutes later, the Hummel-Hudson family was in the waiting room.

Blaine couldn't stop shaking, resulting in Finn grabbing him a blanket and trying to get him to calm down.

"He'll be fine, Blaine." Finn said, but Blaine couldn't really hear him over his own terrifying thoughts.

"Hummels?" Someone called, and everyone's heads snapped in the doctors direction. "Kurt's doing fine. You can see him now."

Blaine was the first one in Kurt's room. He just about hugged the life out of his husband.

"Oh my god, you scared the living day lights out of me, Kurt! I-I told you to go to a doctor! Why didn't you listen to me?"

"Kurt," Burt chimes in from behind. "I know you hate hospitals but you really should've listened to Blaine."

"I know..." Kurt whispered. "I'm sorry for scaring you, Blaine. I'll listen next time, I swear."

After each one of them had gotten their respectful hugs, they left the couple alone to talk. After a few minutes, Blaine asked the question about that had been eating at him since the hey arrived.

"W-why do you hate hospitals so much? They're designed to help you..." Blaine reasoned.

"They didn't help my mom." Kurt whispered, and Blaine was shocked.

"Oh my god, I'm sorry, Kurt!" He immediately said. "I didn't mean to... That's why you don't like hospitals?"

"Yeah..." Kurt admitted, and looked away from him. "I-It's kind of a sore spot."

Blaine laid next to him after those last words, wrapping one arm around his lover.

"Blaine, you're gonna catch my germs." Kurt protested.

"I don't care about that." Blaine said. "I love you, okay? I love you so much."

Kurt gave a shy smile, "I love you, too, Blaine."

Aaaaaaaaah heck yes!! This was amazingly amazing! I think this is my favorite request so far. It was so much fun to write! Anybody wanna see a one shot about Blaine's brother, Cooper? Maybe something where Blaine gets jealous of his brother and Kurt helps him feel better. Cuz I'd be willing to go with that. ☺️
