Misunderstanding

Blaine, despite everyone's thoughts, was pretty strong for his age. He took up boxing back at Dalton, and ever since, it became a part of his daily workout routine.

He was doing this in the schools weight room when Kurt came in. Blaine hadn't even acknowledged he was even there, being focused on punching the life out of the punching bag.

Kurt secretly enjoyed watching Blaine work out. It was adorable watching him be all tough. It was a side Kurt didn't get to see much of on a regular basis.

He slowly snuck up behind his boyfriend, and was on the ground two seconds later. Blaine gasped, immediately knowing he'd hit someone. Then he was further shocked noticing that it was Kurt.

Finn couldn't have picked worse timing to pop in. He only saw two things: Blaine's boxing gloves, and Kurt knocked out on the floor.

"What the hell did you do to him?!"

He had the gelled boy pinned against the wall quickly. His natural instinct was to hit him, but he knew he needed to know what had happened first.

"I-I swear I didn't mean to!" Blaine panicked. "I-I was just exercising like normal and then he was behind me a-and then he was on the floor!"

Finn let go of him at the waver in his voice.

"I'll go get help." He said, and dashed out of there.

Blaine immediately ran toward Kurt.

"Kurt, wake up! I'm sorry! Please, wake up!"

Kurt was on the couch, still unconscious in the Hummel's residence. Blaine had been there afternoon, cursing himself for what he'd done.

"B-Blaine?" Kurt whispered, making Blaine hug the life out of him.

"I'm so sorry, Kurt! I swear, I didn't see you!"

"I-It's okay, babe. I'm fine... I probably shouldn't have snuck up on you like that, though."

"I know you meant well..."

The damage wasn't too noticeable. It looked like he'd fallen instead of getting punched. Blaine looked down, twiddling his thumbs. Finn was there soon after having heard his brothers voice.

"I almost sucker punched your boyfriend, Kurt. You should tell him to be careful."

He glanced at Blaine who looked away immediately. Kurt put his hand over Blaine's in respond, letting him know that Finn would eventually let it go.

Then he was gone, and Blaine relaxed his shoulders. He wasn't afraid of Finn just yet, but the way he stared at him definitely spooked him for a moment.

"He's harmless." Kurt chuckled, examine Blaine's movement.

"I-I know..."

Finn really is protective tho... Like in the show. It's kinda cute.
