So, after the way Ginuwine and Michael was acting yesterday, I told ya'll I would find out what was going on. It took a few tricks and what-not but I finally got it out of Ginuwine but Michael, on the other hand, will not tell me what happened. I haven't told him that I already know what he said, I'm still sitting here trying to get it out of him.

"Michael, you need to tell me what you said", I say.

"Liyah, I told you we were having man talk", he said.

"And what exactly was that quote-on-quote man talk about?", I ask.

"Look, it's called man talk for a reason. See...."

As Michael began to go into the history of man talk, I took the phone off my ear. I waited a few minutes and then put the phone back up to my ear.

"You done yet?", I ask impatiently.

"Yes", he said.

"Ok, since you obviously don't plan on telling me, I went to Ginuwine and got it out of him", I say waiting for a response.

Suddenly it got quiet on Michael's end.

"Why Mike? Why'd you interrogate him like that?", I ask.

"I didn't interrogate him. I just told him to make sure that he doesn't hurt you. Liyah, you're my best friend and if anyone hurts you, they will have to answer to me", he said in a serious tone.

I smiled. "Well, thank you Michael. But lighten up man, Ginuwine is not like that", I say while rearranging the stack of magazines that sat on the coffee table in front of me.

"He seems nice but that's just it. In this industry, the guys use their charm to get the girls and once they have them, they use them for a while and then let them go when they're tired of them. I've watched my brothers do it for years. Just be careful", he said.

"I got it Mike, I'll watch him", I say, "I have to go now, I might stop by your place later."

"Alright, bye Liyah", he said.

"Bye", I say.

*Michael's P.O.V*

I'm not ready for today, I thought to myself.

Today my family is having a little picnic and I couldn't be more annoyed. It's not that I don't wanna spend time with the family, of course I do. It's just that Liyah is coming with her...boyfriend. *sigh*

"Mike!", I heard Janet's voice yell in a whisper causing me to kinda jump.

I looked up at her. "Huh?", I ask.

"Are you ok?", she asked sitting across the table from me.

"Yes, I'm fine. Just got a lot on my mind", I said looking down at the leaves that blew across the table.

"And by a lot you mean Aaliyah and Ginuwine, right?", she asked.

All I did was nod.

"What's up with you? Why don't you like him?", she asked.

I sighed in frustration. "I don't know Dunk, I just- every time he comes around, I just get this vibe and I don't like it. He's not right and I feel it..", I say as I let my sentence trail off.

"Have you talked to Aaliyah about all of this?", she asked.

"Yeah but she always says that he's fine and I need to stop worrying. I guess I am just being overprotective", I say.
