Chapter 7

| 2 weeks later... |

It's been a couple weeks since that news report about us "dating" and Michael and I have been getting calls nonstop. People asking for interviews, family/friends questioning us, and I've even received death threats in the mail from some of Mike's crazy fans.

It's been so hectic around here. Like I'm used to there being paparazzi and fans outside of my home but it has been ridiculous lately. I literally haven't been able to to leave my house at all. I could imagine the same is happening with Michael.

Since we couldn't physically see each other, Michael and I been talking on the phone trying to figure out what to do about all this and finally we decided to do one interview.

I'm on my way to the station and oh my gosh, it was a struggle trying to get out the gates of my home. Fans and paparazzi everywhere! My driver almost ran over some girls foot.

We're pulling up to the radio station and immediately body guards walked over to the car and surrounded me as I got out. All I saw was flashes from cameras and heard people screaming my name.

"I love you Aaliyah!", a fan yelled.

"I love you too!", I yelled back.

I made it into the building and spotted Michael waiting in the hallway. I walked over to him and hugged him tight.

"I missed you Mike!", I said still hugging him.

He was saying something too but I couldn't understand.

"Huh?", I asked as I let him go and heard him take a deep breath.

"I was trying to say I miss you too but you were hugging too tight so I couldn't breathe", he giggled.

I laughed "Sorry. Are you ready for this interview?", I asked.

"Yeah, we need to get things settled but I'm still wondering who this so-called source is..", he said.

"Me too but hopefully we'll find out today", I said.

I looked over and some guy with a headset on was walking towards us.

"They're ready for you", the guy said.

We followed him down the hall into the room. 2 men were in there and they got up.

"Hey I'm Sterling James", one said.

"I'm Victor", the other said.

They were smiling so wildly, I giggled to myself. I returned their smiles and shook their hands. Michael did the same.

"Take a seat", Sterling said.

Michael and I took a seat in the chairs and put on the headsets that were given to us.

"And we're on in 3,2,1!", Sterling said as the "On Air" light popped on.

"Hey wassup Cali! This is the Sterling and Victor show on 102.9 KBLX-Fm and today we have 2 very huge stars with us here in the studio", Sterling said.

"We have the very beautiful and talented Aaliyah Haughton", Victor said as others in the studio began to clap, "And we have the one and only...King of Pop, Michael Jackson!"

They began to clap and cheer.

Michael and I just giggled.

"Aw man, it feels so amazing sitting across from two of the biggest stars in music history, like really this is a surreal moment", Sterling says smiling.

"Yes, it's great having you guys here, like I'm starstruck right now", Victor says.

"Well, we're really glad to be here right now", Michael said with a small giggle.
