Chapter 6

PARKERS POV

Skylynn Elizabeth Floyd/Grier.

Skylynn was the mysterious little girl. She kept laughing which made me giggle even more. I didn't know what to say so I asked, "Hey do you wanna play a game?"
"Sure what game?" She asked.
"It's called getting to know you."

A.N. Cue the king and I singing.

S: "Okay."
P: "Here's how to play... I'll ask a question and we both answer it! Then you ask a question and we both answer! Do ya get it?" I try to explain in a kiddy voice.
S: "yeP!" She said emphasizing the P at the end.
P: "okay! I'll start. What's your name? My name is Parker!"
S: "my name is Skylynn Elizabeth Floyd."
P: "Hi Skylynn! Okay, now it's your turn!"
S: "What's your favorite colors?"
P: "I like pink, green, white and black."
S: "mines pink and purple and rainbow" she said. "And gold!"
P: "Those are lovely choices!" I said trying to hold my laughter from all of her excitement.

We continued the game until we found out our favorite foods, our pets, our family members, favorite animals, favorite songs and finally if we like football and why.

I felt a true bond with Skylynn like he was my little sister or a really close relative. After we finished the game Skylynn said, "I'll be right back!"

"Okay." I said and went back on my phone. The game was going to start in about an hour or so. I wonder why my parents are taking so long..

HAYES POV

I was about to get up but then I saw Skylynn walking over to me.

"Hey Sky! What were you doing?"

"Just playing a game with my new friend, Parker." She said.

Finally the mystery girl has a name.

Parker.

I thought to myself. What a beautiful name for a beautiful girl.
"Tell me more about Parker, Sky."

I learned that her favorite colors were pink, green, white and black. Her favorite food is Mac and cheese. She has three dogs (a dachshund a beagle and a boxer). She has 2 brothers and 2 sisters. (Both brothers are older and 1 sister is older and the other is younger.) She likes 5sos, Sam smith and the Beatles, and that she likes football.

I felt like Sky just described my perfect girl right in front of me.
"Hey Sky, let's go see her again yeah?"

"Yeah! Let's go!" Skylynn drags me over there to where Parker is sitting.

Here goes nothing...
