"Aren't you excited, Dami?" Jon sighed as he skipped along the pavement, holding hands with Damian.
Damian allowed himself the smallest of smiles, "Over the moon."
Jon's mother and father, Lois Lane and Clark Kent, were invited to their colleague's wedding, which was hosted overseas, so they sent Jon to live in the Wayne Manor while they were gone.
"We're going to do so much stuff together!" Jon sighed dreamily, daydreaming about all the things they could do in Gotham.
Damian glanced sideways at him, "Yeah, but keep in mind that I have patrols to do."
Jon shrugged, "I'm sure we can squeeze in some activities!"
Damian looked the other way, "Yeahhh, sure."
Jon decided to ignore the funny way Damian was acting. He was nervous, right? This was probably the first sleepover Damian had.
"Look, we're here," Damian nodded towards the Wayne Manor.
Jon had been to the Wayne Manor countless times, but it never ceased to amaze him. It was made with red bricks and had multiple chimneys. It was an old mansion, but it didn't look as frail and fragile as an old man, it looked like it had been through a lot and carried that experience with it, just like the butler who greeted them at the front door.
"Master Damian," Alfred Pennyworth, the Wayne Manor's resident butler and 'mom' greeted them, "Master Jon."
Jon scratched his neck, "Alfred, I told you countless times, just call me 'Jon'."
Alfred studied the boy carefully. He was younger than Damian, yet he was at least an inch taller. He had messy black hair and blue eyes. Alfred wrinkled his nose and simply said, "No."
Jon sighed while Damian snickered. Alfred walked into the manor and the two boys followed.
"This is going to be epic," Jon whispered to Damian.
But the Kryptonian was wrong, because soon, everything was going to spiral out of control.
