"Dr.Juri. Can you help me with the next surgery? Tyler called in sick so I don't have anyone to accompany me in surgery." It was Dr.Hoshie. I smiled at him then stood up.

"Sure, when is the surgery?" I asked and he just motioned for me to follow him.

"Its now. We need to hurry." I just nod and followed him to the operation area. We put our gloves, masks, hair caps, and other things on before entering the operating room.

"What type of surgery are we doing today Dr.Hoshie?" I asked as we stood in front of a middle aged man laying down in a hospital gown.

"We're going to be doing a kidney transplant. I know you're not a doctor that deals with kidneys, but you're the best surgeon I really trust to help me with this besides kyle." I just nod.

"Alright, then let's begin by putting him to sleep." Dr.Hoshie nods. Then the anesthesiologist, upped the dose and the guy soon feel asleep.

"Scalpel." I say, then Dr.Hoshie handed me one. I started with a small incision. After the wound was exposed Dr.Hoshie took over while I handed him the tools he needed and stopped blood from getting in the way. After we replaced his kidney and made sure his vitals were good I stitched him up.

"Good work today."

"Thank you, Dr.Hoshie." we both leave the room taking our gloves masks and other things off, washing out hands we leave.

"I've got to fill out the paper work and get ready for my next surgery. I'll see you later."

"Okay, see you later." we smiled at each other waving and go our separate ways. I look at the time, I'm here for another 5 hours. And my feet are already killing me.

I walked past the nurses station and looked at the files I left here, their Gone? Did Hina take them.

"Quinn, do you know what happened to my files I left here?" I asked continuing to look around.

"Oh, Hina filed them for you, but she left this for you before she left for lunch. She told me that it's a patient whose been asking for you." I take the file from her hands. It said the patients name once I opened it.

Here for ankle replacement surgery.
Broke his ankle due to falling off his roof while working.

I skimmed through the rest of his details. he says he requested me because when he first came here I treated him and he liked how nice I was. I think I remember him, he came in for pulling a muscle in his neck.

"Thank you, I'll get right on this." Quinn smiled at me. She's one of the few people who don't hate me for being close to Kazuto.

I head to Jakobs room. And knock on his door, he's watching Tv.

"Dr.Juri, hi!" He said with a smile. "thank goodness you're here. I've been waiting for you, my ankle hurts." I nod then walked over to him.

"May i take a look?" He nods and uncovers his ankle. It was swollen. He already has a metal rod there since he broke it when he was younger, but yeah it looks like it needs to be replaced.

"Okay, we can begin the surgery soon, have any questions?" He shakes his head. "How have you been Jakob?"

"I'm alright, how have you been?" I smiled.

"I'm okay, just working is all." He nods.

"Thank you for doing my surgery. I just trust you. If you're busy though I can have someone else do it."

"I don't have anything planned until later, so it's alright. It'll only take about 30 minutes to get things set up and the surgery itself will take an hour. So just rest here for now while I go and get things prepared." He nods.

"Thank you so much you're the best!" He sounds excited, ecstatic really. Back into the operating room we go.

I told Hina to have things prepared for my surgery, I have to find someone to assist me in this surgery. but looking at everyone's schedule their all busy, except for Luke. But I really don't want to work with him. I could get Hina to help me, but then she wouldn't be able to watch Dr.Vivian and assist her in her upcoming surgery. I guess Luke it is then.

I walked around looking for Luke. I seen him talking with a few nurses. I took a deep breath and walked over to them.

"Luke can I speak to you?" I asked her just nods and says goodbye to the nurses.

"What is it Juri?" He asked politely for once.

"Could you assist me in a surgery today. Soon actually." he looks at me for few seconds thinking.

"Alright, I'll help you but you have to help me with my surgery tomorrow. " I sighed.

"Fine, its a deal."

"Deal." We shake on it then both leave to get ready for our surgery. I don't want to spend much time with Luke, so I need to focus and get this done.
