Juri's pov

I started to panic as Linda was flat lining. Her new heart was in, body all stiched up and was working but all of a sudden she just started flat lining.

"What do we do Dr.Juri?!" The nurses started to panic around me. she was going into cardiac arrest. So I took the automated external defibrillator (AED) or defibrillator and charged them.

"200 jolts." I say to the nurse. Her hands shook ass she did as told. But didnt work. "Damm it! Don't did this! 500 charge it!" The nurse looked at me.

"That could kill her!" She said.

"If we don't she's dead. Just do it." She did as told I rubbed them together and pressed them to her chest. Then we herd the beeping start again. I let out a breath. Thank god. She's alive.

My heart stopped racing and I tried to calm down but for some reason I couldn't. I began to walk out of the operation room taking my bloody gloves off throwing them away.

"Good job Dr.Juri!"

"You're amazing! I knew you'd save her."

"I wish I was as good as doctor as you. No wonder Dr.Hoshie wanted you to operate on his wife."

"Thank you." I say thanking them. They continued to follow me to the wash area so we could take our hair caps and everything else off. But my vision began to get blurry. I felt dizzy and out of breath. I think one of them noticed.

"Dr. Juri are you okay?" I just nod.

"Yeah I'm okay." I smiled at him. I quickly leave the room putting my lab coat back on. I hear cheers in the halls from my coworkers and I smiled at them I'm trying to get back to my office. But I didnt make it. I collapsed in the hallway.

"Juri!" I herd someone yell them everything went black.

~ Few hours later ~

I woke up in a hospital room. Confused, I looked around no one was here. Why am I here? I just sat up and pressed the nurse button. I seem a familiar face, but was one of the nurse on my floor, Nurse Rita. She's super sweet.

"Juri. You're awake. How are you feeling?" She asked. I shrugged. "Fine, why am I here?" I asked genuinely curious. Why am I in a hospital bed, when I get got out of doing surgery.

"You passed out in the hall. You seemed really exhausted. You're alright. You just needed some rest. I called your family to come get you, but they said they were busy. Do you need me to call someone for you?" I just nod.

"Can you call Kazuto for me. He'll take me home." I just yawned i guess I am tired. I looked at Rita for a second. She lost her smile.

"So you really are dating Kazuto Kirigaya? I thought they were rumors." I shook my head. What am I thinking all of the girls here want to be with him. Why would I ask him to come get me.

"Did I say kazuto? I mean Yazuxiao my cousin. He's staying in a hotel near by." I fake laughed and then her smiled returned. Did she believe me.

"Just give me his number sweetie. And then sign these papers and you can leave." I nod then sign the papers. I wrote down a number and gave it to her. She left and a few minutes later returned.

"He didn't answer anyone else I can call?" I shake my head. "Its alright. I can call a cab." She just nods. I quickly gather my things and leave. I seen Dr.Hoshie and he smiled at me.

"Feeling better I see. Thank you so much." He hugged me. I stood there for a second. he's never hugged me or anyone before. I just hugged him back. "You're welcome. Why aren't you with Linda?" he just pulled away from me and smiled.

"She's resting, so I figured I'd sit out here and wait until she woke up. She wanted to be left alone." I just nod. Thats weird. Why would she want to be left alone after she almost died?

"Okay, well I'll see you tomorrow." I begin to leave but he grabs my wrist.

"Are you leaving alone? Why don't I have my brother take you home. He's here and is on his way home as well. You passes out from exhaustion. Maybe driving isn't the best choice." I wanted to tell him no, that I could manage getting home by myself. But I didnt want to be Rude because he's my boss and well he just looked like he'd protest if I said something.

"Alright. Thank you Dr.Hoshie." he nods.

"Of course. Wait here my brother just ran to the bathroom he'll be right back." I bit my lip then waited for his brother I've never met his brother before. He's a total strange and I'm telling him where I live, well I don't have to tell him my apartment number or floor, I could even have him drop me.off at the convenience story near my place so he doesn't know which apartment building is mine. I'll probably do that.

I looked at my phone, no miss calls. But I had a few texts.

Hubby: Good luck on the surgery. I know you'll do great!

Hubby: I miss you already. I hope your surgery goes well. I know it will.

Hubby: I'm going to go to bed. Text me when you get home. So I know you made it home safe.

Hubby: Actually call me instead. So I hear you calling.

I rolled my eyes and smiled. Kazuto put his name in my phone as Hubby. Why, I don't know. But I just called him. No answer. He's probably sleeping already. So I sent him a text telling him i was on my way home. From the hospital.

"Juri. This is my brother Kyle, kyle this is Juri." I looked up to see a younger looking man he was good looking and seemed very mature for his age he didnt look no younger than 22. He darker hair and blue eyes. That were behind glasses.

He didnt look to much like Dr.Hoshie. But they had a few similarities I guess.

"Nice to meet you, Juri. " he voice was soft and spoken with a tone that just seemed soothing.

"You too. Thank you for agreeing to take me home." I say Thankinh him. He slightly smiled and nods.

"Sure thing. Why don't we leave now." I just agree.

"I'll see you tomorrow." I waved to Dr.Hoshie, he smiled then I followed Kyle out of the building. He had a weird vibe about him. Something just seemed off I guess. He was good looking and soft spoken, he seemed like a nice person when you talked to him, but just looking at him the way he smiled, it seemed like he wasn't a good person. I don't know why, I just didn't feel safe around him. Can I trust him? I should be able to, its Dr.Hoshie's brother. Maybe I'm just tired is all. Thats probably it.
