Twenty one : Meet

Jisoo's POV
We've now arrived at Nayeon's school a.k.a Jinyoung's old school. We stayed in the car, waiting for Nayeon to come out of the gate.

"Which one is Nayeon?" I asked when i saw students starting to leave the school.

"Just find the prettiest girl in the crowd." He said.

"Seriously?" I raised one of my eyebrows and he chuckled.

He's been using that phrace since we were dating. Whenever someone asks about me, he'll say the same thing. And now he's saying it to me about Nayeon.

Not that i'm jealous or anything. I've moved on, remember?

"Nayeon-ah! Over here!" Jinyoung peeped his head out of the car window and waved at a certain girl. She waved back and ran towards the car with her cute bunny smile showing.

"You weren't kidding!" I stood in awe. Forgetting about my whereabouts and other people's opinion, i got out of the car and ran towards Nayeon who was still running.

"Nayeonieee!!!!" I shouted her name as if we've been friends for ages.

"Oh my God, Jisoo-yaaa!!!!" She shouted back and we hugged each other as soon as we got near.

"You are so pretty!!!" I jumped in excitement.

"Hey! Are you kidding?! You're much prettier!"

"Awiee thank youu!" I said and we hugged again.

"Nayeon-ah, is that your friend?" Three girls came and asked.

"Yup." Nayeon and i broke our hug and faced them.

"This is Jisoo. And Jisoo, these are my best friends, Chaeyoung, Seolhyun, and Mina." She introduced her friends.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Jisoo. Kim Jisoo." I shook each of their hands.

"Kim Jisoo?" Mina reassured. "Uhm.. i- i'm sorry, i may have the wrong person but are you Jinyoung's ex..?" She asked slowly.

"Haha.. yes. I am.." i said and they widen their eyes and looked at Nayeon.

"Hahaha look at your faces!" She laughed and i laughed along. "Don't worry guys. I know about that. In fact that's how we became friends."

"Really?" They asked.

"Yup. This is actually the first time we met each other." I said.

"Yeah. Jisoo got some problems and Jinyoung needs to help her. Well, Jisoo didn't actually asked for Jinyoung's help, Jinyoung was the one who offered her help. And i agreed immediately." Nayeon explained, smiling genuinely.

"Yeah. I've moved on from him. He's got someone better anyway." I smiled back.

"We get it. You do look kind." Seolhyun giggled.

"Uhuh. But break Nayeon once and we'll break you twice." Chaeyoung glared at me kiddingly.

"Alright." I glared back and we laughed. "You guys are really fun to be with."

"You are too!" They said.

"Ekhm. You girls done?" Someone said behind us. We turned around and saw Jinyoung. "Im Nayeon, you actually forgot your boyfriend? And Kim Jisoo, you should know better than leaving me alone in the car." He glared.

"Hehe.. sorry.." Nayeon ran and hugged him.

"Me too. I was so excited to meet Nayeon that i actually forgot about you." I smiled sheepishly.

"Whatever. Forgiven. Shall we go now?" He asked and we nodded quickly.

"See you girls tomorrow!" Nayeon waved at her friends.

"Nice knowing you three. Hope to meet you soon!" I bid them goodbye.

"You too! Bye! Be careful!" They waved back as we walked away.

"So? How was your day?" Nayeon asked when Jinyoung started the car.

She sat on the passanger's seat beside Jinyoung who was on the driver's seat and i sat behind them.

"Hmm... it's been good. But Taehyung seems to be acting strangely lately."

"Like what?" Jinyoung asked.

"First of all, last night was the last night i stayed in the hospital. Normally, Taehyung would come and accompany me there. But he didn't come, so i texted him and he said he was tired. It was kinda weird to be honest 'cuz since we were small, no matter how tired he is, how dangerous it is, he would always be there for me. But maybe he was just really tired so i understood. I also feel a little guilty for being a burden to him even though he said i'm not. Anyway, second of all, this morning, when i came home from the hospital, i was hoping he'd pick me up but he didn't. My brother did instead. I also understood because he probably just slept in. When i arrived at home, i went to Taehyung's house and i was right. He was still sleeping so i woke him up and told him to get ready for school and i'll be waiting as usual in front of my house for him. But when i reached home, he texted me, saying that he can't take me to school because he needs to do a project. But when i arrived at school, his friends told me he hasn't come and that there's no project. Not long after, he came with Yerin behind him. She thanked him for taking her to school." I explained.

"What the heck?!" They shouted.

"And not only that, Yerin told him that her brother can't seem to pick her up after school and Taehyung directly offered to take her home. When my friends reminded him that he's supposed to take me home, he asked if i could ask somebody else to take me home. He chose to take Yerin home instead of me. That's how i end up going home with Jinyoung, because none of my friends and brother are abled to take me." I continued.

They let out an understood nodd.

"At lunch time, he also didn't join us. He ate with Yerin in the garden. In fact, he told us to forgive Yerin for what she did when he was actually the one who told us that he'll never forgive someone like Yerin just a few days ago." I said.

"Wow. Their plan seems to be going good. Now that Taehyung's gone, you should stick with her more, Jinyoung-ah. If possible, join her for lunch." Nayeon said.

"Plan?" I asked. "Oh right! Their plan! I totally forgot about that! Argh! So their plan is working.." i said quietly.

"Don't worry. We'll make sure it wont work. You know the plan, so don't fall to Sehun's trap. And we'll get Taehyung back." Jinyoung assured.

"Yup. And well.. i'll se what i can do." Nayeon smiled.

"Thank you both." I hung my arms around both of their shoulders, smiling back.
