Twenty eight : Explanations

Jisoo's POV

It's been days since i've stayed at home, doing practically nothing but lay down on my bed while watching TV and sleep all day. I wasn't even aloud to go out of my room by my overprotective brother and soon to be sister-in-law.

I'm bored as f*ck.

My friends would always visit me after school, though. But i still feel lonely.

I looked out the window to see the room in the house just across mine. It was Taehyung's room. I wonder what's gotten into him and what did i do wrong? It does cross my mind that it's part of Yerin's plan, i thought Taehyung wouldn't fall that easily. But it seems he did, and he's fine with it, so... i'm okay.

I smiled sadly, reminiscing the times we had together. I know, that if he were here, i won't be bored. He would be the one who accompanies me 24/7, who would stay for the night here, just to keep me company, who would sneak out of school just to make sure i'm okay, who would fight against his parents to let him be with me.

But he's not here now. Have i been replaced?

My thoughts stopped when a knock was heard on my door.

"Come in!" I told them.

"Ms. Jisoo, someone's at the door and they would like to see you." A maid came in.

I furrowed my eyebrows, "they would usually come in even without knocking." I said, remembering how my friends were.

"It's not them, he said his name was mr. Park Jinyoung. He came along with a girl named ms. Im...." She forgot.

"Im Nayeon?" I widen my eyes. "They're here?! Wah! Let them in!" I told her excitedly. She bowed before leaving my room.

Not long, another knock was heard on my door. It opened and revealed the couple the maid told me. Jinyoung and Nayeon. I greeted them with a wide smile on my face, but Nayeon approached me with a frown as she sat beside me, on my bed.

"Yah! Are you okay? Jinyoung said you hadn't come to school! What happened?" She asked worriedly.

I giggled seeing my new friend's face, "aigoo.. i'm fine, Nayeon-ahh! Just caught a little cold."

They sighed in relief and gave me a basket full of my favorite fruits. "We went by the convenient store before coming here. We didn't want to come empty-handed. Jinyoung fortunately still remembers your favorite fruits, so we bought them for you." Nayeon smiled.

"Woww.. Thank youu!!" I hugged her quick. "To be honest, it sounds kinda weird coming from my ex-boyfriend's girlfriend.." I laughed awkwardly.

"Haha.. why? Just relax!" She laughed along with Jinyoung. "I'm not those kinds of girls who easily gets jealous. But that doesn't mean you two can do whatever you want and pass the line." She became serious in the end, making me giggle.

"Of course not! I wouldn't do that to my friend! Besides, i've moved on." I honestly said and she nodded.

Just then, another knock was once again heard. "Come in!"

"YO YO YO WHASSUP WHASSUP MAN!!! LONG LEGS LISA IN-" Lisa stopped when she saw Jinyoung and Nayeon. Her hands formed into fists. Behind her, Jennie and Rosè stopped with the same expression.

Noticing the awkwardness, i broke it. "Before you three say something embarrassing and inappropriate, let me explain it all." I told my friends, realizing that this is the perfect time for them to know. "Sit." I told them and they obeyed, still keeping their sharp eyes on the couple.

"Jen, Chaeng, Lis, this is Nayeon, Jinyoung's girlfriend." I introduced. Their eyes widen and just when they were about to speak, i interrupted, "don't say anything bad! She's nice, he's nice, they're nice." I told them as i started explaining everything to them. Starting from Sehun and Yerin's plan, to where they would help me.
