Thirty : Honest

Jisoo's POV

Not wanting to disturb their time, i closed my mouth to make sure my sobs aren't heard. I slowly walked backwards, away from the front door and ran out of his yard. At the gates, i accidentally bumped into one of the guards. He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion when he saw me crying.

"Ms. Jisoo? W-why are you crying?" He asked, worried. I didn't answer and ran past him.

"JISOO!" I heard my mother's voice from the terrace.

No, i'm not ready to come home yet.

I let my sobs out and ran faster, to where my feet will take me. I didn't even know where i was going and neither do i care. After a few minutes, i felt my feet get numb and my body felt weaker.

I looked around and noticed that this was a familiar place.

Jennie's house!

I ran towards her house and banged her door. I was greeted by Yoona eommonim, Jennie's mother. "Jisoo?!" She gasped. "Are you okay?" She then hugged me and brought me inside as i still sobbed.

"Jennie! Jen!" Yoona eommonim called. 

"Ne, eomma?" She came. "Jisoo?!"

"She came crying. Go and talk to her in your room. I'll get you both some drinks." She said and helped me walk to Jennie's room.

"I'll call Lisa and Rosè." Jennie told me as i sat on her bed, with her beside me.

A few minutes later, a knock was heard on the door. It then opened and revealed Lisa and Rosè.

"What's wrong?" They asked.

With heavy breaths and cries, i told them everything that happened.

"So then i- *sob* ran to Tae's house be- *sob* because that's where i'd go if i- *sob* feel sad or *sob* something like this.. *sob*" I paused. "But i saw him *sob* with Yerin and i- *sob* didn't want to disturb them *sob* so i ran away and- *sob* found myself here *sob*."

"Wait.. So let me get this straight." Lisa said. "So you overheard the conversation between your parents, your brother, and Suga oppa about your... grand..parents.." She quietly said. "And then, you were disappointed so you ran to Tae's house but saw him with Yerin, so you ran here instead?"

"Pretty much.." I said as i blow my nose.

"Alright, let's solve this one by one." Rosè said. "First of all, about your grandparents. I- i'm really sorry for your loss. We know how long you've waited for them to come back, hoping they'd never forget you and stuff, we understand how disappointed you must feel right now. But Jisoo-ya, i'm sure your parents and Jin oppa have their own reasons for not telling you. They may not want you to be sad or disappointed when you hear the news, that's why they decided to keep this as a secret from you."

"For five years?!" I exclaimed. "Now i'm double the sad."

"But Soo-ya, i'm sure this won't last long. I don't mean anything, but think about it, it's been five years since you've met your grandparents. It won't be that hard for you to continue your life without them, you know what i mean?" Jennie patted my back. "You may still miss them, but you're already used to not being around them, right? Maybe that's what your parents and Jin oppa are trying to do."

"I- *sob* I guess you're right." I smiled and wiped my tears. "They're happy now. It's been five years after all." I sighed. "I just need to talk with my family a little bit when i get home. I still need to get over the fact that they lied to me for five years."
