hey guys, J here. so this chapter jumps back and forth between Naruto and Akari's POV, please don't hate me.
When you see bold lettering like this: it's the switching of their POV.
This is my favorite chapter I think, ever.
Akari
"Akari, wake up," A deep voice stirred me awake, but I was more shocked that I wasn't laying next to Sasuke in bed.
No now I was laying in the inner seal.
It wasn't a prison anymore, it was still dark and gloomy, but I think he just enjoyed the dramatics. No now it was as if it was a home for him. I could feel his almost, enjoyment being here. Even if he hadn't been able to be of any use. We hadn't talked in awhile, so I can only imagine why he dragged me in here.
"Kurama, what's the reason behind-"
"Your brother, he met your mother, I can feel my other half's anger," Kurama spoke, and I just smiled. Finally he met mom. I wish I could've been there.
Naruto POV
"I think I failed mom, Shikamaru doesn't think she was kidnapped by Madara," I frowned, "Frankly, I don't either, she looked relieved almost that he was there for her,"
"It seems like your sister has gotten herself into quite the situation," Mom sighed, and looked worried, "Naruto, your sister loves you more than anything, I knew that after our meeting,"
"Yeah but, what if she is too far gone?" Mom just smiled at me, before placing her hands on my cheeks.
"Naruto, you have to be the one to pull Akari back, you two have done so much together, so much I wish I could've been there for," Her eyes were starting to tear up, "I am so happy and proud to your guy's mom yaknow?"
"You really think I can save her?" I leaned my face into her hand, soaking in the moment that was slowly fading away. Before I knew it I was pulled into a tight hug.
"I think you're the only one who can," I felt a tear run down my cheek, and then felt her warmth pulling away from me. I stood there for a moment trying to soak in the entire moment.
That was my mom. We had the same attitude, and we both had the goal of Hokage. Sure Dad beat her to it, but still. I was like my mom, except I wish I could have gotten her hair. That would've been cool.
My mom was trusting with saving her daughter. I am the one who has to save my sister.
Akari
"Well, do you know how it went?" I asked excitedly.
"That's not what we need to talk about kid," Kurama sighed, his breath fanning out over me. I crossed my arms, staring up at him.
"Well, what do we need to talk about?" He seemed impatient, I could practically feel it radiating off of him.
"You're being manipulated Akari, by that Madara poser," Kurama growled, and I just laughed slightly.
"No, Obito he-"
"There's a reason we haven't talked in awhile, I've been in a constant genjutsu ever since we got back, mostly so you couldn't tap into your power," Kurama explained, and I stood there in shock.
"No, you're just trying to trick me, somehow Naruto is-"
"Naruto has made it his personal mission to save you idiot," Kurama growled, "Now my other half might hate him, but your brother cares about you"
