-Akari POV-
I tapped my foot impatiently, Obito had left me in my room awhile ago. When we got back I was supposed to be taken to Sasuke's room immediately. Especially considering he was still healing, and was as cranky as ever. I didn't think his attitude could get any worse than it already was. Apparently he really never failed to amaze me. Obito said he was practically harassing Zetsu since the day I left, wanting to know when I was returning. I was more than ready to see him too.
"Akari?" Obito cracked open my door, smiling at me a bit. I gave him a small grin before letting out a loud sigh.
"Can I go now?" He chuckled at my impatience, walking into the room. He came to sit down in a chair across from my small table.
"I wanted to make sure you were okay, after not getting to see Naruto for very long," Obito had a look of concern covering his face, "Over seeing all of them again,"
"Kakashi told me a story about when I was younger, and he was younger, how he used to observe me from a distance," I thought back on the story my old Sensei had told me. How sweet he made it sound. How my brother and I growing up viewed as monsters, and he did nothing.
"Is it affecting you?" Obito frowned, staring at me. I hesitated for a second, before shaking my head no.
"The only person there that matters anymore is Naruto," I nodded my head in confirmation.
"I'm glad we see things the same way," Obito placed a loving hand on the top of my head, "Have you trained anymore using Kurama?"
"I haven't had time," I frowned, slightly annoyed at his pushing.
"The shinobi are gathering their forces, I need you to be ready to fight, to fight for your brother," Obito sighed, "I hate making you sound like a tool in some game like that village wanted to do to you,"
"I know you are only trying to make sure I am ready to fight," I smiled at him, trying to reassure his troubled looking face, "And I will be, I just want to see Sasuke first please?"
"Of course Akari, I am leaving for an important errand, Sasuke is waiting for you in the medical room down the hall," Obito stood up and gave me one last look. Smiling at me for a moment before exiting the room.
I gathered myself so I wouldn't be overly eager, and quickly got up. Walking out of the room, I made it down the hall quickly. Pacing outside of his door. Hopefully he wouldn't be crabby, sometimes he could get like that. Right now I am sure he would be.
"Just open the door," I heard him yell. I paused kind of shocked, but quickly opened it. Stepping in to close the door behind me.
"I need those bandages off your eyes, I am tired of you hearing me coming," I walked in, and stepped more into the room. Sasuke smirked slightly.
"You're just made you can't sneak up on me even when I'm blind," Sasuke laughed a bit, it was more of a scoff, "So are you here to tell me you are choosing Kiba?"
I frowned a bit. Hating that he was just expecting me to tell him I was leaving. That I was giving up on this.
"It had to be you,"
"Akari don't you dare bring that-"
"Let me finish you idiot," I snapped knowing he was probably glaring at me internally, "Not to sound full of myself but just like you, I had options,"
"Kiba, I could easily choose Kiba, but even if he is the easy choice I don't want easy," I sat down on the bed and reluctantly grabbed his hands, "You are the impossible choice, we have literally tried to kill each other, but we followed each other down a darkened path,"
