Again, this chapter is going to be a bit of a recap of the episode it is based off of to begin with, and then there will be some not canon events.

••Akari••

Karin, Suigetsu, and I watched as Sasuke and Jugo went head to head with the Raikage. The man literally came bursting through the floor, so someone was as impatient to get to Sasuke. Judging from Suigetsu had told me, this had everything to do with the Eight Tails incident.

Obito had explained that although it was never his intention for Jinchuriki to die, sometimes their bodies couldn't handle the extractions. He also explained that some of his members had gone rogue, and began disobeying his ideals. Some members of the Akatsuki were on the angrier side, and he said he was grateful we eliminated the ones that were. Like the ones that killed Asuma, or the one that was responsible for what happened to Gaara. According to Obito he wanted to rebuild the world of peace and prosperity, that was the true goal of the Akatsuki. He even explained he needed the tailed beasts from other people for the single purpose of wanting to make sure no one else could be used as weapons.

If I could just get my friends to see that, and to understand the Akatsuki's true motives then they could help us. After all they weren't responsible for what the older generations had done to the Hidden Leaf village. They would surely understand, and this way we only have to take down the elders. I bet Obito would make a good Hokage.. We could rebuild the village.

"Well, you two ladies stay up here I am going to go enjoy the fun," Suigetsu smirked and playfully blew a kiss at me before jumping down to join the fight. I let out an annoyed sigh before looking at Karin.

"Why do they get to have all the fun?" I whispered and she just stared at me before shaking her head.

"Akari, Sasuke already told you that without the nine-tails we aren't sure how much strength you have," Karin explained again as I rolled my eyes, "I know you are strong, but these guys are on another level than you,"

"I know, I just miss the action," I sighed and looked back down at the fight, "What happens when that sensory guy realizes we are up here?"

"I don't think Sasuke will let him get the chance to get anywhere near you and I, but I need him to be distracted so I can locate Danzo," Karin explained, her voice a little panicked as she watched the fight below. For a second there I truly believed that Jugo was dead, but with that curse mark he was able to survive a hit from the Raikage.

As the fight continued to unfold, Sasuke was able to put the sensory ninja into a genjutsu, and Suigetsu had the other guy completely distracted. The Raikage wasn't down though, and Karin and I both sensed that at the same time. He blew Jugo away like it was nothing, and now that just left him to face Sasuke alone.

"I need to get down there-" I went to stand up but Karin pulled me back down almost instantly.

"Akari, listen to me if you go down there now you will only be getting in the way, Sasuke will get distracted and feel the need to protect you, right now what I need you to do is keep an eye out for unfamiliar chakra coming this way," Karin commanded, and part of me wanted to snap at her for telling me what to do. The other part knew she was right.

"Are you sure-"

"A lot happened while you were gone, and Sasuke he-" Karin looked at me with worried eyes, "He is a lot stronger than before,"
