The Audition

Luna POV:

Day 1:
Garroth was heading to the plane when I stopped him. "This is the wrong plane! My dad said I could fly private." I say
"Woah! Your family is amazing!" Garroth says happily.
We get on the private plane and take our seats. I sit near the back while Garroth sits nearer the front. "By the way, our flight was quite last minute so my dad couldn't get anyone to work as crew for this trip! Meaning we have to get the food ourselves." I tell him.
"That's ok! Because it's your audition, I thought I'd serve you!" He says
"That's ok. I don't need serving. I've been on last minute flights before with no crew!"
"I insist!"
"Well in that case, a slice of New York Cheesecake please!" I say playfully
"Coming right up madam." Garroth says in a horrible posh accent.
He brings me the cheesecake and a slice for himself. He takes a bite.
"OH MY IRENE! This is the best cheesecake I have ever tasted!" He says
"Yep! The food here is better than normal aeroplane food!" I tell him.
We sit in silence as the plane takes off. The journey was slow. Garroth fell asleep so I looked at my messages. A text from a unknown number. Hmm.

???: Hey Luna! It's me Jayden.
Luna: Oh Hey!
Jayden: Having fun in Hollywood?
Luna: Haven't arrived yet. Still in plane
Jayden: oh! How's the flight?
Luna: it's cool. Garroth is asleep. We flying private.
Jayden: Nice! Well text me when you arrive!
Luna: will do! Cya x
Jayden: bye x

Look I know I didn't want to talk to him but I wasn't going to ignore him if he spoke to me. Besides, he didn't mention Gianna at all! I just hope they don't get into a fight or something.

Time passes and we arrived at LA. The plane landed and I woke Garroth.
"We here already?" Garroth says as he gets up.
"Yep!" I say excitedly.
I check the time to find out it was 5pm.
"We should find a place to eat. After going to check in at the hotel." Garroth says
"What hotel? We are staying in a villa!" I say
"Woah! Your parent own it?" He asks
"Obviously!" I say with a huge smile on my face.
We leave the plane and head to the villa. Conveniently it's opposite the studio I have my audition in :).
Anyway! We get to the villa and unpack. I set up my stuff in the room and look online for a restaurant close by.
"Found one!" I shout
"Found what?" Garroth asks
"A place to eat." I respond "The Starlight Inn"
"Sounds magical!"
"It has witch history."
"Cool!"
"I know! Now let's get going. Dress casual"
Garroth nods and goes to his room to get ready. I put on a white cropped long sleeved top and blue jeans. With white sneakers. I curl my hair and put it into a high ponytail.
I leave my room to find Garroth at the front door wearing a casual shirt and black jeans with black sneakers.
We leave the home and head to The Starlight Inn.

We arrive to a glowing sign of the name and staff welcoming people.
As we get to the entrance, a staff member looks me up and down with a disgusted look on her face.
She 'whispers' to Garroth.
"You can do better than her!" She says
"Oh we're not-"
"Quiet shorty!" She says
"Hey!" Garroth chimes in "she was trying to say we aren't dating! We are friends!"
"Well that's ok then! Date me!" The staff girl says
"Not after your rudeness. Now may Luna and I be seated please." Garroth says
"Ugh. Fine!" She says
She takes us in and seats us.
She hands us menus and goes back to the door.
"She was rude." I say annoyed
"Yep. But I'll file a formal complaint on behalf of the Ro'Meave company." Garroth says smugly
"I'll order a steak, well done, with fries" I say
"I'm getting the smoked salmon." Garroth says
A waitress comes over and we tell her our orders.
She smiles and goes to the kitchen.
"So Luna, how's being in the neighbourhood?"
"Its good. I met a guy called Jayden."
"I know Jayden! We met when we first moved in. He was very nice."
"Yeh. He told me somethings about Gianna" I say nervously
"He told me too. Even though she's my sister, no one knew what happened to her so I would believe him." Garroth says
"Over Gianna?"
"Yep."
"I'm torn"
"Well you and Gianna are best friends so I understand."
"Thanks Garroth. I might try and find the truth."
"Don't get yourself into trouble!" Garroth warns
"I'll try" I reassure him
We sit in silence for a bit and then the food comes.
We eat the meal.
"I'm stuffed! Let's just get the cheque and leave."I say.
"Good idea it's getting late as well"
Oh. I mean it is 10pm!
"Cheque please!" Garroth says
The waitress brings the cheque and we pay for the meal.
I was so tired I could barely walk to Garroth helped me home.
