Date #2/The Baking Competition

Jayden POV:
This is it! I'm going to ask Luna on a date

Me:
Hey Luna! I want to ask you something

Luna🤍:
Ask away

Me:
Do you want to go on that date in the park?

Luna🤍:
I'd be happy to :)

Me:
How about... 4?

Luna🤍:
Works for me! See you then :)

I'm so excited! I have an amazing evening planned! She loves the water so I'm going to take her on a boat on the lake and we are going to have a meal at the park café. Don't judge. They have nice food -.-
Anyway. I go to my laptop and book the boating while Cameron comes down to make lunch.
"Who ya texting?" He asks with his pOsH bRiTiSh AcCeNt.
"Luna" I respond. Well I'm not going to lie to him..
"She ok?" He says
"Yes" I say bluntly "We are going to the park together"
"Oh, have fun!" Cameron smiles
"You're not mad?" I question
"Why would I be? At the end of the day, Luna has the final say over who she'll date. But I will say that she'll probably chose me! I am her favourite movie star after all." He sniggers and leaves
I roll my eyes while also feeling nervous. Cameron's right. Luna absolutely adores him as a movie star!

Ahem. So I do have a lot to complete with.
Cameron sticks his head out the door.
"At least we won't have to worry about that Garroth guy! So we both have more of a chance!" He calls out to me
Cameron's right again. Garroth does like Luna the same as we do but after what happened in the past, he's out of the race. Luna would never go back to him. Though I did hear that the real Garroth didn't cause the trouble while Ein was in town during her Sophomore year, but who would believe that?
Anyway! I'm excited to spend more time with Luna. She's amazing.

Aphmau POV:
"Luna. Luna. LUNA LYCAN!" I yell
"GAH" she shouts falling out of bed "what do you want?"
"It's 1pm" I tell her
"But I wanna sleeeeeep" she whines
"But what if you miss your date?"
She jumps up
"MY DATE!" She checks her clock "I have three hours to make Macaroons"
She darts downstairs and I follow.
When I got to the kitchen I saw her quickly getting ingredients out the cupboards.
"I'm sure Jayden will be fine without the Macaroons" I say
"They aren't for Jayden!" Luna informs me
"Then who?"
"Well.. I was out at a shop and looking for new baking equipment and they had a baking competition going on..."

Flashback oooooo

Luna POV
"Any last entries for our annual Baking Bash competition? Winner gets Diana Doughs new cookbook which is not going to be published until next year! And other awesome baking prizes!"

"You see Aph, I love Diana Dough! My bookshelves are full of her books! And I heard in this issue there would be a brand new recipe which no one was dared try before and I couldn't wait until next year!"

"I'll enter!" I yell
"Perfect! Just need your name and age!"
"Luna Lycan, 23" I tell the person
"Ok Luna your entered! You'll have one hour to complete a baking masterpiece! The thing that will be judged is taste. Decoration isn't a key aspect but it must look appetising!" The host tells me
"Alright!"
"We begin in half an hour so chose your recipe!"

"Diana Dough was judging that day and handing the winner their rewards. I decided to try macaroons and I knew no one else would! I've done them before and to make them really my own design I added lavender extract which tastes better than it sounds!"
