Date #3/Lucinda's Examination

Luna POV:
I get dressed into something casual to go to Lucinda's. It would be nice to have one thing sorted. Everyone else is still asleep so I head out quietly.

I knock on Lucinda's door and she lets me in. "Tea?" She asks.
"Please" I respond
After she makes the tea she directs me to sit on the sofa as he examines my wrist.
"Hmmm, something isn't right about this. Your wrist is supposed to be broken." She says
"What do you mean?"
"Magic is involved. I sense time magic but that's basically impossible to use. But on the off chance it has been used. Even if you rewind to fix an injury, the pain is still there. You can't fix things with time magic. Sooner or later your wrist will break by doing the smallest thing. How long has it been like this?"
"Christmas"
"I'm surprised it hasn't broken yet. Unless you've avoided using it. Another more plausible possibility is that someone has cursed you with this. Don't know how would though. Either way, your wrist has to break at some point or else you'll have this forever. I can do it now." She offers
"I guess I have no choice" I accept
"Brace yourself." She warns
I hear a snap which I respond with by wailing in pain. Lucinda then puts a bandage and cast on it.
"This should mean you can use it with no issues but I will just take a sample of magic so I can see what happened" she tells me
"Thanks Lucinda" I say
"Anytime! And don't worry, I will find out what happened to you!"

Well this is inconvenient. Garroth and I are supposed to be going on a date but I suppose it won't be too bad.

*bing*

Garroth💙: Hey Lu! I want our date to be a surprise so I'll pick you up at 6 and we can head off. Sound good?

Luna: Ooo sounds cool! I'll see you at 6!

He is one for surprises!
I head into the home to break the news too Aph, Katelyn and KC
Before I show them I sit them on the couch, then I explain everything.
"I'm surprised you managed to keep it unbroken" Katelyn says
"Don't you have the Diana show coming up?" Aph asks
"Lucinda said I should still be able to do things like normal" I explain
They all nod and accept that this is my life for a while. I go to my room to run some lines for the movie when my phone rings.

"Hello?" I say
"Heyyyyy Luna"
"What?"
"Are you free tonight?"
"No Jayden I'm busy!"
"This is urgent!"
"Ask Lucinda! I got to go... bye"

I hang up. I'm just going to focus on my date with Garroth.
I go upstairs and get ready.
I have no idea what we are doing so I don't know what to wear

Luna:
Hey Garroth! What should I wear?

Garroth 💙:
It doesn't matter! Anything will do

That's easy enough! I open my closet and put on pair of purple denim shorts and a short sleeved white shirt I tie to make it cropped. Smart Casual.
I put on some white trainers. And tie a purple bow around my neck.

I check my watch 5:45. He should be here soon. I pack a small bag with my phone and some money before heading downstairs. No one is there. Strange. I hear a knock on the door. I open it to find Garroth standing there with a bouquet of roses. I take them and follow him to his car. He blindfolds me.
"Hey!" I yelp
"It's part of the surprise"
We drive for a while until he takes me out of the car and guides me.
When he takes my blindfold off... I am starstruck...
Its a cliff overlooking the meadows and forests with the stars glowing above us. Garroth has made me a picnic.
"I had to ask KC for some help but I managed" he smiles
I give him a big hug. This is the most thoughtful date I've been on.
We sit and admire the fireflies.
"Like it?" He asks
"I love it" I say softly
He looks at my cast and takes a marker to write on it.
"I didn't want to ask but, my curiosity is getting the better of me. What happened?"
"Well, turns out my wrist pain was because of time magic and Lucinda said it had to be broken or else it would be painful forever. Magic can't fix broken bones"
"Interesting" he says
I giggle and place my head on his shoulder.
As the night progressed, we talked about our futures and what we want out of them. Until Garroth went silent. He leaned in. And kissed me, while fastening a necklace on my neck. I pulled away to look at it. It had a silver chain and the charm was of a wolf with an amethyst for its eye and a charm of the moon made with moonstone.
"This is gorgeous! I love it!" I said hugging Garroth and kissing him again.
After we pulled away, Garroth and I packed up and headed to the car. But before we did...
he pushed me in the lake.
"HEY!" I yell
He stands their laughing before I pull him in with me.
"Hah" I laugh
We start splashing each other laughing and playing. I get out and help Garroth get out and we walk to the car.
He helps me in and drives me home.
I enter the home to find... no one there again. Strange. I head to my room and find Aphmau not there either. I check the other rooms and Katelyn and KC are gone too.
I try not to jump to conclusions as it was only 9pm and they could be out so
I change and go to bed.
Into dreamland.
