Thanksgiving

Aphmau POV:
YAYAYAYAYYAY THANKSGIVING! Fooooooood
I love this holiday. So much. Le food is great and I get to spend this holiday with all my friends.
I hear a knock on the door.
I open.
"Hello Aphmau"
"Oh, Hey Laurence" I respond
"The boys and I are throwing a thanksgiving party and we're wondering if you and the girls wanted to come?" He requests
"We'll be there!" I respond
"AHHHHHHHH" I hear upstairs
"Sorry Laurence I have to go!"
"Is she ok?"
"We'll see"
I shut the door and rush upstairs.
"LUNA ARE YOU OK?" I yell
"I GOT IT!"
"Got what?"
"THE ROLE!"
"OMG! When does filming start?" I ask
"This Summer, we are doing it at Love~Love paradise!" Luna says excitedly
"AHHH IM SO PROUD!" I yell as we hug
"What's all this noise?" Katelyn asks
"Luna got the role she auditioned for!" I respond
"Wow, good for you" Katelyn says as she leaves to go back to her room
"Anyway, Laurence invited us to Thanksgiving" I tell Luna
"Oooo! That'll be fun" Luna says enthusiastically
She goes back to Netflix on her laptop and I go down to make cookies for tonight's party.

Meanwhile

Garroth POV:
Tonight is the night. I finally get to spend more time with other people. Being in a house with Dante has its bad sides. He's so.... weird. And I mean weird, like very weird. I went to drop something at Brendan's house and when I came back, he was on MY computer. Like come on!

Anyway

I was helping Laurence get ready for the party seeing as, what else was I supposed to do. He was hanging a string of paper turkeys and he put a Garland of leaves around the TV. Our house looked like a forest.
"Laurence," I say "do you maybe want to turn it down a notch with the leaves?"
"Nahhhhhh" he says to me. He leans back slightly on the ladder as he does, the ladder wobbles. He then falls. I catch him of course.
"Thanks Garroth" he says
"Maybe you should take a nap. You were late to bed and early up this morning!" I suggest
"Maybe a nap will do me good. I want to be awake for the party!" He agrees as he goes to bed
Dante comes into the lounge and starts singing
"Tonight is the night, tonight is the night"
(Granted that's not a real song)
"To to what Dante?" I ask
"Oh ermmm nothing?" He responds shakily
"Riiight" I say
"Coffee?" He asks
"No thanks, I'm going food shopping" I respond "for the party"
"Suit yourself" Dante says

I go to Food N Stuff and find Ivy sulking on a bench. I don't wanna ask. But I do. But I don't. If I ask, I'll find out stuff but I hate Ivy and don't want to give her the wrong idea. If I don't ask, I could miss out of useful information that I may need but it means I won't-
"Hey Garroth..." she whines
ehhhhhhhhhhh
"Heyyyyyyy" I say awkwardly
"How are you?" She asks
"I'm gooood, youuuuu?" I respond
Ugh why did I ask that?
"My audition for that movie went amazingly but I didn't get a callback because of by "behaviour" and now I find out LUNA got the role?" She complains
"Luna is talented!" I snap
"Of course you'd think that!" She yells "what's the for?" She points at my bag full of party stuff
"For the thanksgiving party Laurence is hosting"

why did I tell her?

"I'll be there" Ivy says
"What? Laurence didn-"
"But you did"
"No I did-"
"See you there!"
She wanders away
What have I done...

Aphmau POV:
"Lucinda, that's not how you- no that's- LUCINDA!" I am trying to teach Lucinda to bake but she doesn't seem to be getting the hang of it.
"I can clean it with magi-"
"No! Your magic is great but I'll clean this by hand"
*Knock*
Oh that might be Aaron
I answer the door while Lucinda starts to clean
"Hey Aph!"
"Aaron!"
We hug.
"So, thanksgiving. It'll be Christmas soon" he reminds me
"Yeah and I don't think that Luna is very excited" I respond
"But it's her favourite holiday?"
"Not when three guys are fighting for her love and mistletoe will be hung"
"Then don't hang it" Aaron suggests
"If I don't, they will, besides, how will I be able to kiss you" I joke
"Good point"
"We just have to keep her away from it" I suggest
"But what if the boys bring their own?" Aaron says
"Ah, that's a good point"
"Just warn them on the invite" Aaron tells me
"That's a good idea!"
I kiss him on the cheek
"Thanks Aaron!"
"Anytime Aph!"

Later That Day

"LUNAAAAA" I yell
"WHAT!" She responds
"ARE YOU READY?"
"YES IM COMING!"
Luna walks downstairs and her dress is so pretty! It's a lovely deep red dress and black belt. She wore black heels to match.
"You look lovely Aph!" She compliments
I was wearing my deep purple dress with a black belt. We looked similar.
KC and Katelyn went on a head. Laurence requested their attendance early because KC finished making the treats and Katelyn made some décor.

We leave for the boy's house. As we arrive, the door is open and there's a mess of decor outside. It looked like a high school house party! We wander inside to see Laurence and Garroth hiding under the table and Ivy and her friend Lily dancing on top with a bunch of other girls. Jayden and Cameron are in the back yard. Locked out. Lucinda and KC are trying to salvage food from the kitchen while Katelyn is trying to escort Ivy's friends away.
I turn of the music to cue Luna
"EVERYONE STOP!" Luna yells
Nothing
She growls
"STOPPPPPPPP" she yells louder. So loud in fact it sent a wave across the room.
"IVY, LILY AND WHOEVER CAME WITH THEM OUT NOW!" Luna warns
"And what if we don't leave?"
Luna looked into Ivy's eyes and that was enough to make her leave.
Jeez! I wouldn't want to be on her bad side! Her stare must be so... intimidating.
"Ivy turned this into a club!" Garroth says "Sorry Laurence..."
"It's ok Garroth..." Laurence responds, crushed
Lucinda sighs "I will try a spell to restore everything but I cannot say wether it will work or not. If it doesn't work, you may end up with worse consequences" Lucinda warns
"Let's just do it!" Laurence says
Lucinda stands in the room and she glows. Everything starts to become normal.
"Lucind-" Laurence begins
"Don't break her concentration" Jayden yells from outside
Lucinda finishes and falls to the ground
"Lucinda! Are you ok?" Luna asks
"I'm fine..." she responds
"I'll take her home." Luna offers
Luna and Lucinda leave.
Garroth goes to his bedroom.
I follow.
"Garroth?"
"Oh, hey Aphmau" he responds
"You ok?" I ask
"If I'm being honest, I wanted to use this party to try and get back on Luna's friend list. I miss hanging out with her... and I maybe have feelings for her again..."

Oof. Now I'm not American so I don't know what they do at thanksgiving hence why there wasn't any traditional thanksgiving events in this chapter but it's set at thanksgiving and there is a party for it hence the name!
