"Ricoooo" I hear Lesi faint screams as they get louder in my ear "Please...hurry."
"Don't turn just yet. Please don't leave me!"
"Rico. I can't hold on. It's hurting me."
"Hold on Lesi I'm coming" hearing her screams made me want to move faster. "Just hold on" I ran to the room and I open the door slowly. But I was too late
I looked at Lesi's flesh and seen her eating on a corpse and she looks at me with her possessed eyes. She growls and gets up I get on my knees realizing that I failed saving her. Now she is infected and there is nothing I can do about it.
"Just do it Lesi. I failed you and I don't even know why I am alive right now" She gets closer to me and then...
I wake up...with her right next to me.
Well, It's just us now. Madison and her family, we sent them off to Vegas hoping that they are alive I was laying next to Lesi after our millionth time making love to each other. It's like a burning sensation when it comes down to her. She's sleeping peacefully and I'm holding her while she's drooling on my chest. I chuckle and kiss her forehead as I look at Thai and he walked over to me and I rubbed on his fur. I slowly moved away from Lesi slowly and picked Thai up I looked at Lesi.
"Come on Thai let's give mommy her space." I walk out the door and shut it ever so softly and walked down the street. I looked at Thai and he was walking like a little cub. I was thinking and looking around the city. I seen the smoke from the Superdome was slowly going out. I walked towards the river and sat by the bench. While Thai was laying against me, a thousand thoughts were running through my mind figuring out what we should do once we get to Vegas. Then I felt a touch around me. It was Lesi and she smiled.
"Heyy senpai." I blush as she looks at the river with me and she cuddles closer to me.
"We should leave tonight Lesi. Just cross that bridge and find the car and get the fuck outta here" I say.
"I mean I agree if you want to be honest. We picked this city clean and thank God we are immune because..."
"I went and grabbed the car from the other side so we don't have to worry about the danger." Lesi looks at me shocked.
"You did. Oh my god Rico! So brave." She giggles as I kiss her cheek.
"I know I'm your hero and we ride off into the sunset." I laugh "Now let's just watch the waves" I look at Lesi and she was so close to me. It gave me chills because she has always been my best friend. We really gotten close over the years. There we were just watching the waves of the river. Then Lesi gets up
"I think I'm ready to go back to the house. I'll see you and Thai back inside." I smile watching her walk back to the house. I pick Thai up and I walk towards the hellcat and look at our work. The red headlights, the engine loud enough to attract anything, the red stripes, the clean black, the interior, and the plate with LxR23 on the back...
"Ricoooo" I hear Lesi faint screams. "Please...hurry"
Just like the ones in my dream...
I grab Thai and put him in the car. I felt a strong grip around my neck. I pull out my knife and stab the person in their leg and then their eye.
"Hold on Lesi. I'm coming" I ran to the house. I opened the door and saw no one. But one corpse. I walk over to the corpse.
"Where is she!?" The man coughs
"I'm not telling you...We need you guys to save humanity. I felt a sharp sting in my neck and I fell out.
